房間裡wifi訊號實在慢到（卡到）不行，是最糟的項目。除此以外房間與服務都還在水準以上。希望能解決網速太慢與樓層熱點太少的問題，身在科技台灣、身為一個西門町熱門的國際飯店，網路的部分真的太掉漆。

綜合評價： 房間之所以會給三顆期中一些原因是，訂了雙人房，結果床真的很小，衣櫃的部分竟然是在廁所 馬桶的對面，拉個屎衣服都會有屎味的感覺 服務給兩顆是因為一走進去要check in的時候，櫃檯完全只有一位人員，與另外一位不知道到底是怎麼在這邊工作的員工，櫃檯的1號人員在幫韓國旅客調換房間，全程英語溝通（給這位員工鼓勵，很厲害 也很認真的在幫客人解決問題）但另外一位員工，我說我得現金付款，他說：呃…我不知道我能不能收錢欸.你等他一下好了（結果等了快20分鐘） 地點給四顆是因為在捷運站走差不多8分鐘就到的地方，附近有很多很多吃的東西很方便 總體而言，花了將近2600感受到的是這樣也挺正常的 ‍♀️ Rooms: 普通

トコジラミがいるとの口コミをみて怯えていましたが、2泊で虫は一切見ませんでした。(一応、寝てる最中は電気をつけっぱなしにし、虫除けスプレーを身体中に塗るなど対策はしましたが。)西門駅からも歩いて10分しないくらいでした。シャンプー、コンディショナー、ボディソープ、歯ブラシ着いてます◎

Rooms: if you are solo travellers your first impression & first feel will be uncomfortable in the guest room. it isn't good as room is in dark black & white tone & all the steel materials make fixtures. it takes a while to get use to the room atmosphere. Room is small & clamp , most basic & simple provisions in the room available. don't expect too much. Nearby activities: accessible to night market , day time not much local eateries shops till 12pm

很有特色的酒店，走現代復古風，也有點密室。業者找了很多仿舊的物品，比如說電話、開關和花灑等等，好像穿越了時空 裡面有保險箱、冰箱、熱水壺。美中不足的是有些設施有點日久失修，然後用熱水要小心會燙手，因為水喉是金屬的

Low wall material grade, you will hear sound from the room next to you or people walk pass your room. I will never come here again. By the way, service is good.

The hotel has interesting design elements, which is what caught my eye in the first place and it's in a great location. But staying there was quite a let-down compared to all the other places we stayed at on our 10-day Taiwan trip. Firstly, we could hear EVERYTHING through our room walls. Not just muffled sounds either, we had to listen to our Korean neighbours' conversations all night and I needed earplugs to muffle their voices, so I couldn't properly chill/rest in my room, and didn't get great sleep. Secondly, we tried turning up the temperature in our room and it didn't work (I assume it's because it's a central system), and we ended up having to just turn the air off because the room was cold. With the whole design concept, rooms (and corridors) were also pretty dark and dimly lit, which may not be ideal for some guests. Thirdly, from check-in to check-out service staff were pretty cold, never seemed happy to serve, and it felt like I was imposing on them if I asked a question or for help. We were only here 1 night so it wasn't a massive blow to our trip, but all things considered, we wouldn't choose to stay here again.

If you're with family, it's advisable to avoid staying here. The beds are infested with bed bugs, the internet is non-existent, and the staff displays a nonchalant and unpleasant attitude, possibly due to prior complaints. This likely indicates a significant management failure. Moreover, the restaurant staff was rude, evidenced by their behavior of slamming plates on the table.

Be careful when they ask you to pay on their self service check in. It took over $2K and the reception did not care or was sympathetic.

到飯店來找來台北玩的馬來西亞朋友，才發現這間飯店的裝潢與氛圍很有趣。

真的是訂不到周五晚上的房才選這裡，一晚雙人房也要5000，住得都是外國遊客，本地人很少。 房間超級小，裝修隨便省成本被說成是工業風，這是兩回事好嗎，只有公共區域搞得還像個樣子，隔音差到隔壁房放屁都聽的到。

Great location very close to Ximending. not far from MRT station that easy to travel. There are a lot famous hotpot restaurant around here. good facilities. For the person who love to take a photo you can spend the time in the hotel because they have a nice area for you. 我非常滿意在Hotel Papa Whale的住宿體驗，這主要歸功於酒店的兩位出色員工。第一位是前台人員Mark，我記得第一天在辦理入住時，遇到了一點問題，之後我向Mark求助，他快速的解決了我的入住問題，他提供的服務確實讓人滿意，感恩他的幫助讓我在辦理入住時一切順利。 第二位是清潔團隊的大姐，我忘了問她的名字，大姊根本是一位天使，由於我共入住了8天，可我因為沒長時間在酒店待所以都沒要求清潔整理房間。但在第三天出門時，善良的大姐問我需不需要整理房間呀，都好幾天了，我告知大姐暫時還不需要，等過兩天我朋友要來時再一起整理吧。這時大姐主動說要不我幫你換毛巾和給妳多補幾瓶水吧，這些小小的舉動真的溫暖了我，大姐真的是很棒 ！ 總的來說，Hotel Papa Whale的服務和員工都給我留下了深刻的印象，我會強烈推薦這個酒店給其他旅客。感謝Mark和大姐，你們讓我的住宿變得更加愉快！

Beautiful place, lots of vintage machines and light fixtures providing nice photos. There is a bar, restaurant, and a dessert place within the area and convenience stores nearby. Its out of the way of Ximenting.

Location is good...It is nearest in XiMenDing...But their staff's attitude and service too bad!!! When they talk with customer also bad attitude!!!! This is my first time visit there and no next time!!! Please provide a professional training to the staff!!! They totally don't know how to service customer with the good attitude!!!!

A little too small for my comfort but it is generally clean enough. However the fresh towels smell somewhat funky, somewhat like residue of chlorine. Rooms: Really small rooms, just enough space to walk around the bed. Walkability: 5-10mins walk to/from Ximending

If it weren't for its strategic location near the Ximending main street and having convenience stores and eateries nearby, this hotel would have been an extremely terrible stay. My mother's room had bed bugs, my room had a terrible high ceiling design that expose the dirty and untidy piping. The soundproofing was terrible. Could hear our neighbours coughing, talking and showering. Breakfast was horrible. Despite it being free, decided to buy and eat bfast from street vendors and local bfast cafes. Dont let the nice fancy lobby and lounge area fool you. The rooms and hallways are badly designed and dimly lit. The bathroom in the bedrooms are badly designed with a dangerous elevation. Not good for elderlies. Perhaps only ideal for young travellers.

Tiny basic room without a mirror in the bathroom. The mattress was old and not very elastic. One pillow only. However, breakfast was excellent and location is great. I would consider to book again.

Very close to xi men ding. Beautifully decorated lobby and lounge area. Only part that I felt uncomfortable was the hotel room lobby which I posted the video. It felt eerie with the long walkway and rows n rows of doors. Otherwise the decors were on point and nice. Service was ok, no complaints except for the strict check-in and check-out.

房间隔音的确像网上所说的，没这么好，像是隔板房这样，头顶都是水管或是暖气管之类的没有天花板遮着。酒店的服务是不错的有一次我放了免打扰还在我房外他们会放一张纸提醒我如果我还想要他们帮忙打扫的话可以拿那张纸过去柜台让他们帮我安排打扫。地理位置呢其实不这么完美，从西门6号车站出来走到酒店要15分钟左右。

2023/9/24 之前和家人住過一次還不錯，這次自己來台北怕踩雷，還是選擇此旅宿的單人房住宿一晚。 房間乾淨整齊，跟在訂房網站上看到的照片一模一樣。床旁邊有一顆閱讀燈蠻不錯的。 走廊上有人在講話的聲音聽的到，但入睡時的隔音不錯，聽不到隔壁房的聲音。 之後有來台北還是會考慮來這間住宿！ Walkability: 距離西門町還有西門捷運站很近

Comfortable Experience at Hotel Papa whale. It is about 10 minutes walk from ximen mrt, and is located nearby Ba Fang Yun Ji dumplings. The room is clean and comfortable. There are also sufficient amenities provided for the stay.

Worst customer service I have experienced in Taiwan. Maybe the staff need to learn some better hospitality service for their customers and how to be polite. They will charge you if you want to leave your bag with them after checkout. The wifi and signal in the room is awful, I mean it literally is in a basement, so room underground. The room is very dark, due to no windows, even when all the lights are turns on, there are a lot of shadows and the room is still dark. Would not go there again, I actually changed hotels during my stay in Taipei to a different hotel closer to the Ximen station. This hotel is about 10min walk from Ximen station. The hotel towels are very old, see the photo I added, it was all ripped. You need to check in and out yourself on a kiosk, again refer the the photo, where are the staff? I was waiting awhile for help.

Small Rooms and Hard To Find Rooms. I Thinks This Was Once A Warehouse!

Booked this hotel Elegant Double Room on Agoda, the location is good, BUT DONT GET CHEATED BY ITS PHOTOS! Room is small, can’t even fit to open 2 cabin baggage in the room. Front desk receptionists (females - Txxa Lxx and another which I didn’t catch her name) were busy chit chatting when we approached them. Another 2 guy receptionists (with specs) also busy looking at their screen monitor when we were standing in front of the counter seeking for assistance. But thumbs up to another tall guy receptionist (with dyed hair) which is more enthusiastic in providing assistance to customers. Lousy hair dryer which takes forever to dry my hair, refer attached Not that soundproof, can even hear next door Uncle snoring Overall: My 7days Taiwan trip in 3 different hotels, this is the worst. Honestly don’t recommend and definitely wont choose to stay in this hotel anymore

this was the worst value hotel i've ever stayed in. the prices are not cheap, yet it feels like we are staying in some budget no-star hotel. firstly, we were not allowed to check in early, but not just that - not even a single minute earlier. check in starts at 3:00pm on the dot. You can see a line of people queuing to check in at 3:00pm as if a new Kanye west x Supreme collection just dropped. so don't even bother asking for anything earlier than that. and check out is STRICTLY 11:00 am or your card will start to be charged. the room is tiny with barely any room to move, though it is stylishly decorated which is it's only saving grace. but the walls are so thin you can literally hear the conversations going on in the next room, let alone footsteps and people screaming down the corridor. need wifi? no luck here. the wifi connection here is almost non-existent, and you won't even be able to get your own cell reception in the room, so guess what? you are locked in your own prison cell that YOU PAID FOR. the staff's attitude here is abysmal. taiwan is known for having the friendliest people, but somehow it's like all the rudest people congregate here at papa whale. rude and impatient staff without a drop of hospitality. I fully regret staying here, and would highly dissuade anyone from staying here if you want to enjoy your time in taiwan. Rooms: Rooms were tiny. You can’t even open up your suitcase. And there is no WiFi in the room.

우선 단점이 많은 호텔~ 룸 컨디션 안좋고 너무 작고 화장실 샤워실 불편함. 5박동안 침구 교체 안해주고 베개에서 쉰내가 ㅡㅡ 위치는 뭐 보통임 나쁘지도 않고 좋지도 않음 가격이 저렴한 이유가 있음~ 소음 심하고 뭔가 꿉꿉한 냄새남. 2층방 이였는데도 이정도면 지하는 뭐 더할말이 없음. 층마다 객실수가 엄청많아서 그런지 몰라도 너무 시끄러움 중국인들 단체투숙 많은거 같음~ 세탁은 2층3층에서 가능함~ 세탁70 건조50 대만돈 좋은점은 호텔1층에 훠궈 빙수 카페 다 있어서 먹기는 좋음 빙수맛집임 ㅎㅎ 훠궈집도 나쁘지않음 조식으로도 가능함. 카페같은 술집 있어서 간단히 술한잔 하기 좋고 호텔근처에 은근 맛집이 많음~

入住前看評價都是提到隔音很差，原本想說我也不怕吵所以還是入住，結果一進房間後發現跟booking上的照片完全不一樣，房間非常昏暗，配置很奇怪，廁所也超級小間⋯真的是監獄風==櫃檯人員很不友善，住週四到週六要快五千塊，想取消住宿櫃檯人員說要跟booking聯絡，私訊booking後他們說聯絡不到飯店人員？？難得跟男友出遊搞得兩個人都超級鬱悶，真的是謝謝papa whale

Had an unpleasant experience and stayed in this sub-standard and worst hotel I ever had so far! SUPER RUDE, Unfriendly and UNPRoFESSIONAL STAFF! We’ve arranged a special family trip to Taiwan and celebrate our mum’s 82 years old birthday. We planned to have dinner there to celebrate my mum big day.. However, we had a worst and unpleasant experience / encounter with staff worked in Takao 1972 kunming restaurant (cannot remember his name, kindly check the CCTV On 7 Oct 23, 1937hrs, we were attended by a young guy)- when we attempted to make the payment for 5 pax, the above mentioned staff requested us to choose 5 different “soup base”. We would like to seek clarification why need to choose 5 different type of soup base/ how it works. However, instead of explain the hot pot meal that offered by Takao 1972 restaurants, he raised “VOICE” and “SHOUTED” at us!!! I cannot imagine what we had encountered there, don’t think we deserved such an unpleasant, sub standard service and unprofessional service line staff (sincerely hope that the management of Takao 1972 kunming restaurant can investigate the above incident). We just walked off without having the dinner there! Really ruined our day,!!!!! All the hotel appeared unfriendly and rude. Not sure why not even one staff greeted customers with smile and friendly gestures… all appeared so arrogant, rude and unprofessional The Worst hotel that I ever stayed thus far! This hotel is over rated “4 stars” hotel, in my opinion, it worst than 2-3 stars hotel, indeed worst than a budget hotel!!!.. DON’t GET CHEATED by THEM!!!! Regret booked 2 rooms for 3 nights stay in the worst and bad taste hotel!!!! Definitely will not recommend anyone for this hotel!

😀 - Sehr spannendes Design Raumnutzunng und stil insgesamt, konzept von hotel, kaffe und bar Platz zum Lesen, zusammensein 😞 - Sehr grosses asiatisches Frühstücksbuffet (wenig für europäische Gewohnheiten) Eher bescheidene Englischkenntnisse der Mitarbeitenden Räume eher klein, ringhörig und ohne Fenster Badetücher etwas in die Jahre gekommen

😀 - Sehr gute Lage. Schneller Check-out. Cooles Design in der Lobby. 😞 - Die Zimmer im Keller riechen nach Schimmel. Schimmel ist auch in der Dusche und an der Decke in den Gängen. Die Mitarbeiter sind extrem unfreundlich und geben einem das Gefühl unerwünscht zu sein. Man kann von der Zimmernummer her nicht ersehen, wo das Zimmer ist. Im Fahrstuhl steht auch keine Erklärung. Verstaubte Feuerlöscher stehen im Gang. Super hellhörige Zimmer. Ich hab gefùhlt jede Toilettenspülung im Haus mitbekommen. Null Sicherheit: Mann muss die Zimmerkarte im Fahrstuhl vor einen Sensor halten, die Treppe runter in den Keller ist aber uner eine separate nicht überwachte Eingangstür zu erreichen.

😀 - Hotel staffs are nice and friendly. They assist me to solve my problem. 😞 - The breakfast. One of the waitresses is rude. I was there few years back and I remember there was a staff who is rude to customer. It's still the same after years. The food is not delicious, too.

Breakfast has limited variety and taste is not to our liking. Common food suitable for kids e.g. cereal, hashbrown, ham, and sausages are not provided.

😀 - The location was great as it is near Ximending and lots of food selection nearby. Laundry in the hotel was great as well as we could wash our clothes. Staff was friendly and helpful. Assisted on booking the airport transfer and could also speak multiple languages to serve each guest. 😞 - The room was very small and we had to take turns to open our luggage. The aircond temperature couldn’t be adjusted so it was slightly cold in the room. As the room was small, there was no room to walk around after placing our luggage. Price of hotel was also high even though room was small.

😀 - The hotel looks cool. It has coin-op laundry which was useful, a cool bar attached, and in a good location. 😞 - The rooms are miniature and the walls are made of basically made of paper. We could hear the people in the next room eating it was so bad. They also came home at 3am, and stayed up talking and eating until 7am. And we could hear absolutely everything as if we were sat next to them. I wish I had not booked this place, and feel like I have been ripped off. Do not stay here, it is not worth the money. The room was so small, I couldn't open my suitcase properly. And there is no where to put any oil your things anyway.

😀 - Not much. It was clean. 😞 - The room had no window, despite it appearing so in the pictures. Every time someone had a shower or went to the toilet, the noise of the water rushing above our room (on the top floor #5) was unbearable. The beds were too short. The breakfast was poor.

This is my first time coming to Taipei and stay in this wonderful hotel. The Room was spacious,clean and tidy. The service provided was good.The hotel is located at a good spot where u can walk to Ximending shopping spree and nearby got lots of shops.

The hotel is only 5 minutes walk to Ximen market and 12 minutes walk to MRT. The room is modern and clean. Breakfast is ok, mostly are local food. There is a pub in the hotel as well. The bus stop is also nearby. The room is big enough to accommodate 3 persons.

Hotel is only 5min walk to Ximending, a popular shopping district. It is an industrial type of hotel that offers laundry service and free water refill. Breakfast caters more to Chinese cuisine and less selection for other foreign cuisines. Hotel price is quite costly for a 16m Double Elegant Room.

Overall the place is clean and centrally located. Our room does not come with a privacy curtain for the bathroom area - although noticed other rooms have it. the noise isolation is also very poor. you can hear people talking in the other rooms.

Very accesible if you are exploring TaiPei walking to MRT and XiMen Market and various other places. The room at the 5th floor has no window but comfortable and ia very clean .Very functional toilet separate dry and wet areas which i find intereating. The toiletries are regularly stocked for our use. The room cleaning is well done and superb. The breakfast is also very good with spot on cuisine and choices..I have only 2 issue: the internet frequently goes out on this room and the walls are not well insulated enough. I will use thia hotel when i visit again taipei soon.

This hotel was over my expectations, perfect spot to walk around the city or catch the MRT. Comfortable, clean, trendy. Food at the restaurant was very good though not many options for western breakfast. I recommended as the hotel to stay in Taipei

The rooms are a bit too small for a 2 queen bedroom :) That is why I gave it a 4/5 star rating. Overall The design is very vintage and unique! They have a lot of lights and has a good size table! This hotel has a button to make up the room which is good! I do recommend it but not for very large groups:)

The room is very small, not worth the money at all. They provide complete amenities and you can ask for more bottled water. Location is close to Xi Men Ting night market, but not so close from the train station. I myself dont like this hotel, it is too small. Breakfast is so so. Lucky they still have coffee machine.

Hotel is not far from Taipei main station and shopping street (ximending) walk around 10mins. Hotel shares space with restaurants and cafe. Big outdoor space in the middle. A lot of convenient stores nearby. The room is not small. We booked underground room. There is no window. Weird function of blind in front of bathroom. I shared room with my friend, so awkward cause blind is outside bathroom. Bathroom door and room door are not block any noise. So noisy. Tobacco smell in the room.

I did not enjoy my 1 night lodging experience at Hotel Papa Whale hotel. The style of the hotel was modern but the rooms we so tiny I felt claustrophobic. Also, I couldn't get the aircon in the room right so it was difficult trying to sleep. The fixtures in the shower were loose and kept falling down. The only positive thing I can say about the room was the wifi which was stable for the most part. One of the most hideous aspects of this hotel was the breakfast buffet...I found absolutely nothing edible from a western perspective. Overall, I feel I'm being generous just find this place 2 star.

Bad sound Proofing. Beds are definitely undersized. Room layout and amenities are retarded, nearly unusable. Case of looks over function. Shoddy housekeeping. Obvious black mold on blinds and in the toilet. Furniture is dusty and poorly upkept. Soundproofing is horrible, can hear conversations in the corridor. Definitely would not stay here again.

Our first night at the hotel was a nightmare as we were disturbed the whole night by noises made by neighboring rooms - from loud talking to sudden sharp bangs sounding like heavy objects hitting against the floor/walls. The noises continued into wee hours of the day - 3am and beyond. While the condition of the room is above our expectation - new fittings, furnishings and a chic vibe, it couldn’t compensate for the lack of quality rest. We checked out the next day and went about our tour at other parts of Taiwan. Our second night at the hotel was when we returned from our round island tour - during which we had no problem staying at other hotels across Taiwan. We could not change the hotel as we have already pre booked and paid. We gave our feedback to the Papa Whale hotel concierge before we checked in our second night there, only to receive lame excuses such as “Oh, our hotel is always fully booked especially by tour groups, so the noises will be inevitable. The sound proofing for all Taiwan hotels are like this…” The lady who attended to us (I forgot to take down her name) was unapologetic and ineffectual in her communication towards guests. While the hotel offered a quieter room thereafter, we had problems with adjusting the air conditioning, and again couldn’t sleep well. Breakfast was served only at 7am (think this is the norm for Taiwan) and was chaotic. The breakfast staff attending to us were rude and had double standards- insisting we sit at “designated seats” while allowing those who came with tour groups to sit anywhere at free will. I was totally pissed when both the male and female staff insisted we sit side-by-side at the two seats facing the wall while seeing other guests who doesn’t speak mandarin sitting anywhere they liked. I was discriminated for being able to communicate in their language.

Have a fantastic experience with my stay here at Hotel Papa Whale (Taipei). Before I booked my stay, I emailed them to check whether they helped to receive letters as my purpose of visit to Taipei was to attend an event and the ticket need to be sent to an address in Taiwan. The staff responded promptly that they are able to assist. This is going above and beyond as not all hotels assist to receive letters on behalf of their guest. On the day of my arrival, while doing self check-in, one of the ground staff was walking around assisting the guest and once they saw my name reflected on the monitor, they immediately asked me am I expecting a letter that was mailed to their hotel. I was very surprised as I didn’t even asked them about the letter yet; they went the extra mile to remember my name and was diligent once they saw me checking in. On the date of my departure, we asked the ground staff to assist in booking a cab to the airport, but we will only need the cab 2 hours later. 2 hours later, when the same staff saw us, she took the initiative to approach us to inform us that our cab has arrived. The ground staff are all very warm and friendly and made my stay in Taipei extremely pleasant and unforgettable. Their service, in my opinion, is a solid 5/5 stars!

Unique aesthetic and design I’ve rarely ever seen in a hotel, with a vintage/steampunk sort of theme. Food and beds are all great, charging ports are accessible and internet is decent as well. I especially enjoyed the shaved mango ice desserts next to the hotel not only because of its quality but also the convenience and accessibility. 10/10 would come again.

This got to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. As you arrive at the hotel the transfer pick-up that was arranged by the hotel was great. The person driving was extremely kind and he helped us to carry all our luggage and even offered to tour us around. The concierge is really kind, sadly I was not able to get the name. They were extremely accommodating. The interior of the hotel is so pretty and the rooms were comfortable and homey. The first day, the heater was working but the second day, it broke down and my mom had to ask someone to help us fix the heater. The staff was apologetic and gave us a new room to stay in and apologized for the inconvenience, and it was even an upgrade from our original room. He was willing to help and will do anything in order for us to have a memorable stay. He is one of the best staff that this hotel could have, The hotel also has a breakfast that comes with it and the food is phenomenal. The hotspot for breakfast every day is so good, the coffee tea duo is unbeatable. The place was extremely clean but it is self-service. There are staff to accommodate you if you need help, just a few walks there is a place that sells shaved ice dessert and it is soft and delicious. The hotel is also situated in an area where there are already a lot of shopping centers and around 10 minutes walk in order to go to the train station. The location is perfect and Taiwan is pretty small which taking the train is more than enough to explore the city.

Hotel is located within walking distance to ximending which is really convenient. It’s like a container concept and room and bathroom were quite good. Only thing is the shower door is rusty so that’s a bit disgusting. Breakfast is at the hot pot restaurant next door. Simple yet delicious. Not much Taiwanese food but the lu rou fan was pretty good

We checked in on Sep 17 2020. The front desk lady “Sherry Chen” had a rude attitude towards us during our check in process. We were applying the government’s travel reimbursement (安心補助) and had many confusions. She did not have any patience towards us nd was reluctant to explain any detail. Need a way better training!

My 1st time staying here and the room caught my attention as is located at basement and I was like wow when enter the room which is like a cruise theme big spacious room for me to rest and a big TV infront of my bed to let me enjoy my movies. Noise level is at the minimum and Toilet is definitely big enough. They do provide hotpot breakfast which I just get to know(but not at the moment cause of covid 19) and there is coin laundry washing machine for guest to use. Is walking distance to ximending shopping area and there is a drinking place just beside the hotel. Receptionist provide good information and all are friendly👍👍👍😊 I Wii be back to stay at the same room when I am back.

1. Hotel is situated at good location, near to ximending and within walking distance to both ximen and beimen Station. Family mart and 7-11 is just around the corner too. 2. Easily accessible from Taipei taoyuan Airport. Took the airport express mrt train, alight at Taipei Main station, via their underground tunnel to beimen Station exit 1 and another 8 mins walk. 3. Has many instragram-able spot in the hotel like their hotel lobby and even staircase. 4. Offer steamboat as breakfast. Unique experience from the usual hotel breakfast buffet concept.

Just avoid this hotel at any cost... paying customer is treated not what Taiwanese hospitality will do... and no windows at almost 80 of the room, no evacuation plan and exit... imagine earthquake and fire....

我住的是2046號房 房間的隔音很差，連隔壁房間的咳嗽聲、笑聲、鬧鐘聲都聽得一清二楚。 房間也很細小，放行李的位置都沒有，很惡劣! I live in Room no. 2046 The sound insulation of the room was poor, and even the coughs, laugh, and alarm from the next room were heard clearly. The room is also very small. There is no place for luggage. it is very bad!

This hotel is 8-10 minutes walk from Xemen station, exit 6, so it is quite convenient. The room is well decorated with good room layout. I stayed in single room in the basement room, so there is no window in the room. Another good thing about thing of this hotel is breakfast. They serve hotpot buffet every morning. However, it is quite busy as there are nearly 130 rooms in my floor. One more thing, the room is quite dark.

The hotel is a 15 min walk from xi men train station and about 10mins away from the shopping district of xi men ding. We stayed at a triple room for 3 nights. The room was slightly small without much space to open our luggage. The hotel's interior decoration is stunning with tons of vintage stuff. There is usually 4 front desk staff on duty (3 at night) so you dont have to wait too long to be served. They were helpful in food recommendations and calling taxi for us. My main gripes about the hotel are the (i) poor soundproofing and (ii) cigarette smoke. We got assigned probably the worst room (2001), which is next to the laundry room, first out of the lift, and at a major intersection. As the partition walls are paper thin, I got woken up multiple times by luggage rolling and loudly talking guests in the wee hours of the morning. One day at 7 or 8am some wise guy decided to do the laundry (which was deafening being on the other side of the wall). The hotel staff told me that I would be charged 400TWD since i did not make the request before noon. The ground floor lobby is filled with cigarette smoke so much that we gave up trying to sit at the tables there. Perhaps there could be signs to keep smokers away from the entrance and hotel staff to enforce a non smoking zone. The toilet also has a continual lingering smell of cigarette smoke as well.

We stayed here for 5 nights. We loved the hotel interior and design and the location was really great, just a few minutes walk to Ximending. The rooms were fairly sized with basic amenities, however the walls are a little thin as we could hear the next door watching TV or talking. Overall, the hotel was good and would recommend to stay when you're in Taipei.

This hotel has a rating of 2-3 stars, and is very popular with online clients. The location is Good , as it is near the main tourist spot of XIMENTING. The subway (MRT) is within walking distance, so are many shops and eateries around the hotel. The DECO is GOOD and Very Modern and CHICK in line with Modern Look, and very tastful, so are the room decos!!! The room is clean and well maintained. The staff speak Good English and helpful. Good value for money !!!

I booked a single room for one night stay, Room not big but enough for solo traveller . Located 8min walking distance from ximen station. A lot restaurant nearby as well. Breakfast was all you can eat self service mini hotpot and taste good.

I was staying here for 2 nights. The room was clean and well design comparing to other hotels in Ximen. The location is very excellent. It is bigger than we expected. The staff are able to communicate in English. Those are all the good things I could say about this hotel. Below this is the story that made me gave only average score for this hotel. We had turned on the “do not disturb” signal which mean we didn’t want any cleaning service. Once we came back in the evening, we saw the letter said that the housekeeping didn’t came in to clean the room because we turned on the signal. Unfortunately, once we entered the room, all the lights were turning on and there is a used telephone card stick in the light controller. So, that’s mean someone had entered to our room. I didn’t complaint at the reception because I haven’t loss any valuable items, but I have already informed them about this issue. They only say sorry, I do understand because that is the only thing they could do and I also didn’t want to complaint it through the staff at the front desk because I knew it is not their false. I hope that they had informed the housekeeping team and the management about this issue. I personally think that this is not safe at all and it is unacceptable.

The room is extremely small, you are having difficulty to walk around if you are traveling with a big luggage, there is practically no room for you to put your luggage, there is no windows in the room even though they advertise their room rate based on room with/without windows, so we paid for the room with one but in fact there aint any window therefore, great marketing strategies to attract dumb tourist like us. They charge NT400 per person for their buffet breakfast but in fact the breakfast is steamboat with carrots, little bit of greens, frozen meat ball & chicken meat, some bread but no butter & jam are provided. No coffee but tea & soy bean. I would suggest that you skip the breakfast as there are many good eateries around for breakfast. There are two iMac located in the lobby area and is locked by password, the front desk said only the night manager knows the password therefore it is for decoration only, and is not for use. Overall the hotel is cheating and lying on their guest by publishing false advertisement. Enough is enough. Never return.

Prime location that is just 5mins walk from ximending night market (plenty of food, shopping and street performers there) The hotel is sleek and clean, only con is that there's no windows in the room. Breakfast is steamboat (one personal pot per pax). Food choices quite limited though (only chicken meat, processed food like fishballs meatballs crabstick etc, and assorted fresh vegetables). Better for solo/friends.

I will start with a review of the hotpot breakfast. We spent NT200 per pax for the breakfast and would recommend to better spend your money elsewhere. The food selection is not wide, the usual carrot, radish cabbage, crabsticks, fishballs, fish tofu and chicken meat. There is rice to mix with braised minced meat, lukewarm porridge with pickles and floss to add. 3 types of bun and bread, strawberry and butter to accompany. For that, I do not expect a feast, but the service was inconsistent. The restaurant sign writes that it is open till 11a.m., we were chased out at 10.40am. Food last serving is at 10.30am, we asked for butter at 9.58am and they said they do not have butter anymore, EVEN THOUGH the service staff was holding on to a brand new bowl of it. We felt like we are constantly being shortchanged because refill takes a long time, and the staff seem unhappy with each other. Throughout our meal, could hear them complaining to their clique about other colleagues. It was unprofessional and an earful early in the morning The room decor was clean and instagramable.... at first look. But the maintenance of the room was not well done. The kettle was covered with dust, it is apparent that it was not used and washed for a while. The bed headboard and side table was dusty too. The hand towel holder was no longer fixed to the wall and therefore accident prone. Bathroom water does not drain completely, even overnight. The ultimate shock was to wake up to rude shock of bed bugs scampering across the bed. We caught two, showed to the hotel staff to request for a change of room. To their credit, the staff and manager showed a mild reaction of shock but insisted that it is a bug but NOT bed bug. They even explained that they do regular disinfection. I am not the position to know if they do, but explaining disinfectioning schedule to your guests who just got bitten by bugs was just not appropriate. They changed our room, our second room was slightly dated than the first. Our bad experience with the hotel did not end there. We did not want to have our breakfast at the hotpot place anymore and asked for the amount paid to be refunded. 2 days of bad experience was enough, but the hotel was very inflexible about it. They claimed that the third party booking site had given us complimentary breakfasts, I had to emphasize time and again that I paid extra to have the breakfast. I wanted to show them my booking reference but they declined it. Yet repeatedly insisted that no refund could be given because we never paid extra and they would not be able to claim back from third party website. It was just so tiring repeating ourselves. It was not our business to know their contractual arrangements, but the hotel should still be in the position to gauge what they ought to do for their guests and not attempt to push their responsibilities away by citing the third party website all the time. They wanted to appease us with a little gift from the restaurant, we declined it. All we wanted, was for us to be refunded the unconsumed breakfast. Till now, we cannot understand why the hotel would spend so much time to refuse us a refund for unconsumed breakfast. After many struggles with the staff over 1 phone call and 2 conversations in person, they finally relented, but it has left a very sour and bitter aftereffect. 2 out of 3 of us are now suffering from bedbug bites. When the counter staff kept insisting that it was not bedbug, we told them that we did our research and were sure they were. We could even get it verified by doctors when we return home, or upload the photos for travellers to take a look and judge for themselves. What was the point in us going back and forth to define that creature that shared our bed!? The counter staff had the cheek to snigger, which convinced us that the place was truly not for a second visit. In summary, the hotel left a lasting impression. For guests who managed to cruise through their stay with no hiccups, you will enjoy the industrial decoration. For those who unfortunately ran into problems like ours, do not expect a satisfying solution. They lack in people and crisis management skills

If you have ever wanted to stay in one of the first levels from the original Doom, now is your chance. The bare concrete, exposed pipes aesthetic is kind of cool. Staff are reasonably friendly. Our big beefs: WIFI is so unreliable they shouldn’t be advertising it. The WORST. Drips, lags and downright refused connections. Second, the coffee wagon opens at 12:00, checkout time. Seems odd. A normal hotel with adequate service and terrible wifi, dressed up to look like something more.

My husband and I stayed for a week at Hotel Papa Whale this September. We liked everything about the hotel - from the industrial theme interiors of the lobby and hotel rooms, good quality toiletries, to the buffet Japanese breakfast. Most of the hotel attendants were helpful. They even helped us book a table at Starbucks Taipei 101. We just encountered one particularly rude hotel front desk personnel, Ms Sherry Chen, whom we spoke to several times and had a condescending tone whenever responding to our queries (and mumbled in Chinese in a mocking tone). We would definitely plan to book this hotel again but avoid this rude hotel personnel.

Lobby is instagrammable. The rooms are quite small. I don’t think two western will fit in the double room. Walls of the room are quite dirty. Privacy is zero. You can hear people laughing, coughing or chatting in the corridor — same as they could hear what your talking about when on the corridor. Good thing is that it is quite near in Ximending around 10min walk. Towels and bathroom are clean. The best thing about the hitel is the lobby design. The rooms are quite overpriced for the size and cleanliness

4/5 due to minimal space but would still go back and recommend to friends. Hotel is a 5min walk to Ximen station, and conveniently located near Ximending Night Market. Staff are very patient with our email inquiries prior to our booking and stay. The room is well kept, no foul smell, have internet access, have toiletries, temperature can be adjusted, well airconditioned, and have universal power outlet.

Like our last trip to Taiwan, this is another “new” boutique hotel. Again very basic, but functional. Room was very “industrial” looking but comfortable. It had a fridge, a safe, large flat screen tv and separate toilet and bath. Aircon was good and cold. I didn’t try the restaurants below as we were more interested in going around. Lobby decor were old TVs, cash registers which didn’t follow the whale decor that greet you as you enter the hotel.

Hotel PaPa Whale is conveniently located at the fringe of Ximending, about a 7 - 10 minute walk to the Ximending Main Street. This means if you need a late night snack or if you are heading back after a long day, it is rather convenient. It is not located very near an MRT station, but a reasonable walking distance away. The room is compact and comfortable, with good air-con and a huge TV. There are windows in the room, but the windows are tinted/covered and sealed. Having a washing machine and dryer in the hotel was also very convenient for us as we were in Taipei for about 6 days and needed to wash our clothes. For completeness, we stayed on the 3rd floor of the hotel.

The hotel is located in the center of Ximending and it is very accessible to 7 eleven and very near to Mcdonalds if in case you arrived early you can explore around though some shops will not be open but you can have a light breakfast at Mcdonalds. Though check in time is 3pm and they are really strict on this and with late check out as well. The hotel itself is in industrial interior so the hotel itself seems very dark and don’t expect much with their windows, we booked a room including the breakfast thought the breakfast is so so since i’m not a fan of hotpot meals during breakfast but the taste is very good. We would like to thank all the staffs for being helpful since we had a little bit issue during our booking. I would like to mention the staffs (wade, aaron, jackie, harvey and Mr. Kevin) also to the hk who cleaned our room everyday i just didn’t recognize her name.

Chic design hotel for instagrammer, you can take a photo in every corner of the hotel. In walking distance ( ~7 minutes ) from Ximen station and near everything you need ( Mala hotpot or bubble milk tea ). Room is quite small, not suit for large luggage ( even family room ) but fully equipped with all amenities you may need. Only minus score is for they don't have bidet like in Japan.

Was in Taipei for a meeting. Papa Whale has a good balance of the industrial/carpark looking design with Vintage film set and wood. High ceilings, stunning hanging light fittings, stunning steel pipe-looking handles, gorgeous monsoon shower, and MOST importantly, a firm, comfortable bed and aircon. The breakfast is a hotplate with all of the produce required for a delicious soupy breakfast. It feels clean to eat this at breakfast time despite the heat. Very healthy. Is close to the cinema strip, and as a film scholar, this was a delightful bonus! Equally close to a number of young, funky eating places, stores and markets. Am STOKED to have stayed here and would LOVE to come again.

What works the most for this hotel is the excellent location, it’s just across ximpending and so you are never away from action. Also the price is very reasonable.very safe as well. Also the lobby is very instagrammable with their layout and collection. Rooms are very basic - feels like army barracks, no windows, small space, bed really not enough for two large people, limited breakfast options and coffee shop closing by 0900 pm with no options post that... but then you can always step out for options.

Good location, retro decor, relatively clean and nice rooms (not sound proof tho). Breakfast is “hotpot” which is unique but not suitable for everyone. WiFi connection and speeds are super lousy 🤦‍♂️....kindly upgrade it!!!

On our first night we requested for upper floor room, but it turned out to be so small. On the second night we requested their basement room which is bigger but I have a problem staying in rooms with no windows. Breakfast is hotpot so if you want continental breakfast this is not the place for you. Their lobby has nice design though.

The hotel has cool and funky designs, the rooms and common areas are clean. Beddings and pillows are soft and comfy. I didn't try while I was there, but they also have a laundry area if you need one. The free breakfast is also great, it's a hotpot buffet in the adjacent Takao restaurant. The location is great as there's plenty of stores and restaurants nearby, it's a 10-mins walk to the popular Ximending area. But if you're staying with friends and a bit modest, take caution cos the windows of the toilet and bathroom look out to the room. There are window blinds but you could still see outline of the shadow. :)

First time in Taiwan. This hotel is a classic theme hotel. Great location, good value rooms with fantastic bathrooms. Although the room we had was a bit small, it was enough for a relaxing night.😍💃🏻🌸

If you enjoy style and comfort in a compact, smartly furnished room in a great location you are likely to LOVE this hotel. The staff is smart and helpful and the overall ambiance modern and functional. For me.. Hotel Papa Whale was a total winner and delivered on what it promised at an incredibly reasonable price. Having traveled for 6 years in Asia, I guess I'm not surprised at some of the reviews. This is clearly not a typical hotel nor a typical hotel room. Yes, the rooms are small yet with everything you need for an overnight or multi night stay, more along the lines of an upgraded capsule / pod style accommodation. There's no river view, no city view, no garden view, but for the cost of an overnight stay... the view of my hotel invoice and a great night's sleep in a cool, compact room was the best view of all. Amazing hotel and clearly, not for everyone.

Me and my gf dont like it. About tv we can not change chanel. The room i am stay in room 5002 twin bed but we was book king side bed. And about air condition is too hot for us. I was call to front, she was telling we have to wait for 20 mn but now 2 hr the temperature still the same.

This hotel is “hipster”... It reminds me of the Ovollo brand in Australia... Check in is smooth and my impression was good when I saw the lobby. It’s a cross between a budget hotel and hipster... The rooms are tiny and have no windows... It’s extremely tight and the shower, toilet and wash basin are seperate probably to save space. The location however is excellent near the shopping area... Breakfast was basically hotpot probably because the boss owns a hotpot chain... There are loads of good toiletries in the room, washing machines in the hotel (for a fee)... Would I stay here again? For the price and quality... Hell yeah!!!

Excellent facilities and very helpful staff. Very accessible in the area were you can shop and were you can encounter locals. Nearby to local train station that connects to the main Taipei Station. Kudos for the staff for superb customer service specially to Ethan.

There was some confusion during checkin as "twin deluxe" is 2 twin beds but a "full deluxe" is one full bed. I don't know whether this is an SE Asia thing but it ultimately made for an uncomfortable stay (as they had no other rooms available). It would have been understandable but considering the other issues we had: the internet was really spotty the whole week there and the walls were paper thin so you can hear your neighbors coughing or watching TV it really made the stay less than great. The atmosphere is otherwise great, the staff are relatively attentive, and the bar downstairs is particularly lively and full of people (as well as good food and drinks).

Room doors needed to be double checked sometimes to ensure they closed and locked properly which I heard other guests doing occasionally and did myself every time I left my room.

Todo el concepto del Hotel me ENCANTÓ, super Cool la decoración, las habitaciones comodas, la comida deliciosa, el ambiente seguro. La ubicación perfecta, cerca de Ximen en Taipei. El precio bastante accesible.

Très déçu. Les, murs de la chambre sont marqués de dégradations et sale. Wifi trop faible pour être utilisée normalement (wifi lente avec pertes de connexion, impossible d’aboutir mon Check In online). Belle salle de bain mais mauvais rapport qualité prix. Chambre assez mal insonorisée. Tres déçu, pour résumer dans le quartier il y’a mieux pour moins cher.

Le concept de cet hôtel est clairement l’univers marin d’un paquebot ou autre vaisseau maritime. Les décors sont sympas, l’ambiance est au rendez vous. Le personnel est très accueillant. La chambre est assez bien équipée et toujours dans l’esprit. En revanche, les couloirs sont plutôt labyrinthique ce qui est un peu déconseillé aux claustrophobes. Les chambres ne sont pas bien isolées (on entend nettement le voisinage) mais surtout, il n’y a pas de fenêtres. Et c’est assez dommage voire angoissant. Enfin, l’hôtel est bien situé dans la ville les accès sont bons et rapide sur le métro et la gare centrale.

Le prix bas est justifié : pas de fenêtre, chambre petite, problème d humidité, service limité, petit déjeuner 100% chinois, internet mauvais, couloirs interminables, bruyant ( nuit agitée, on entend tout ce qui se passe dans le couloir). Le + : l emplacement, on est dans le local, quartier animé, pleins de restaurants, street art.

西門駅から渋谷のような賑やかな通り歩いていくと10分もしないうちに辿り着くことができます。大きなクジラの外壁が目印なので、すぐわかります。 水を張った中庭を囲むように口の字型に部屋が配置され、コンクリート打ちっぱなしのアメリカンアンティーク風のスタイリッシュな内装が特徴のホテルです。ロビーには本棚やパソコンもあり、自由に使用することができます。 エレベーターに乗ったら、カードキーをかざし、部屋のフロアボタンを押せば点灯します。基本的に廊下とエレベーターホールは空調が効きすぎて寒いです。 部屋に入ると奥にトイレと洗面台とバスルームがあり、それぞれ独立しているので、複数人で同時に使用でき便利です。窓ははめ殺しになっているため開放できません。またそれぞれガラス張りになっているため、友人同士の時などカーテンを引いて目隠しする必要があります。 机やハンガーラックはありますが、ソファーなどはありません。 シャンプー、コンディショナー、ボディソープ、ボディローションなど泡立ちも良く快適に使用できました。ただ残念なのはバスローブなど部屋着となる衣類はなく、スリッパは使い捨て紙製でペラペラ過ぎるので、持参した方がいいと思います。 2番に電話するとフロントに繋がり、カタコトの英語でも充分通じ、何でもすぐ対応してくれます。 ベッドメイキングが早く来てしまったので、時間をしていしたり、ドライヤーを交換してもらったり、タオルを追加してもらったりしました。 テレビはNHKも見ることができますし、番組によっては日本語に切り替えることもできます。 バスルームにはバスタブはありませんが、独立したバスルームなので、広さも充分です。シャワーの水圧や温度は全く問題なく、頭上から円形の固定シャワーに切り替えることもできます。 ホテル1階は同系列のカフェ、バー、火鍋屋、かき氷店、コンビニがあり、中庭を経由し繋がっているので便利です。ただし開放されていない時間もあるので、その時は外の通りを歩かねばなりません。 朝食ビュッフェは隣の火鍋屋になります。メニューはご飯、お粥、パン、肉まんの他に台湾風の炒め物や煮物などなどあり、私はルーロー飯が気に入りました。 ホテルの近くにはコンビニ、食堂、安くて美味しい24時間営業の包子屋などもあり、飛行機が早朝便でまだお店が開いていない時などとても便利です。 天気が良く足に自身があれば、龍山寺も17分程度で快適に歩けます。途中、ドンキホーテやカルフールなどスーパーもあるので便利です。 西門駅はアクセスもよく、ここを拠点にすれば、何でもここで揃うのでパパホエールホテルはコスパも良く超オススメです。

西門駅及び北門駅の近くにあり、交通の便は良いところにあるホテル。 シングルルームなどがあるフロアはアメリカのちょっとした都会を彷彿させる雰囲気。コンセントは各国の形に対応しており、日本のものをそのまま使える。ベッドも快適で柔らかい枕とちょっと硬めのクッションがあるのでお好みの枕で寝られる。コインランドリーもあるので、服が汗や雨で濡れても安心。朝食バイキングも日本風カレーがあるので偏食気味な自分も満足。また、バーやかき氷屋さんも併設。近隣のお店もすぐ近くにコンビニやファストフード店、映画館もあるなどサブカルの街西門ならでは便利なところもグッド。 気になったのはシャワーが海外特有の温度の融通があまりきかないこと、トイレがウォシュレットなしでペーパーをゴミ箱に捨てるタイプのものであること、日本語を話せるスタッフは少なく、英語をある程度話す必要があること。電気周りの説明が不足していること。

城市商旅と同じ海覇王グループ。インもアウトもパソコンで行うが戸惑う人が多いのでスタッフがついている。部屋は天井が高く今までのホテルとは違うイメージでコンセプトはちょっと解らず。一人にはちょうどよい広さ。朝食は飲食業も手掛けるグループなので付属のレストランを利用。カウンター仕様の席が多くあまり落ち着かない。おまけに団体客多く混雑していた。昨年(コロナ期)に比べ価格も倍ぐらいになっていてもう少し下がればリピートありと思う。

シングル泊。天井が高く、長時間いても圧迫がない。ベッドは寝心地がよく、掛け布団や枕にも変な匂いがないところが良かった。水回りも1点を除いて申し分なし。洗面の際、上の棚が邪魔で頭がぶつかる。ぶつからないようにすると、今度は床が水浸しになる。不満点はそれぐらいで、とても居心地のいいホテルだった。駅からは少し距離はあるようだけど、ごちゃごちゃした場所にあるだけに、狭い道を渡っただけで飲食店は豊富にある、コンビニも近い。

台湾は初めてで、他の口コミとまたホテルの写真を見て決めました。台湾駅から口コミでは歩いて行けるとありましたが、とても暑くて道路を歩くのは無理でしたのでタクシーに乗りました。日本と違ってとても安いのでお勧めす。ホテルの印象はとってもモダンでレトロな感じです。一階はカフェもあり本棚に本がずらり、日本語の本も沢山ありました。一つだけ残念だったのは、元ウエアハウスを改良したような感じで、窓がありませんでした。部屋は申し分なくおしゃれでしたが、窓が無かったので、ちょっとくらい感じがしました。また一泊目は朝食をつけないで、二日目は朝食をつけました。隣のレストランでしゃぶしゃぶ方式の朝食でした。日本で予約した時のほうが安いです。朝食は現地だと高くなりますので、ご用心を。

台北でようやく見つけた過不足のないホテル まずコインランドリー ワンフロアに5台確認 これだけあれば順番待ちの心配なし 洗剤は自販機で買うタイプ 中国語がわからなくても簡単に使えるのもいい そして部屋 日本のビジネスホテルなみに狭いが、過不足はない 空調、冷蔵庫、シャワー、トイレ、すべて問題なし 雰囲気も良し 高級ホテルとは真逆というか、色々と武骨な感じがとても良い 立地も良い 九分に向かうバスに乗るのに徒歩で10分もかからない MRT台北駅からはややかかるが、それでもアクセスが悪いということはないだろう 値段も安いので連泊にぜひ

西門エリアの上の方の端にありました。MRT空港線台北駅から歩いて15分弱でした。乗り換えて西門駅を使うより、直接歩いたほうが早いです。ホテルの1階にかき氷屋があって、にぎわっていました。周辺には7-11、マッサージ、飲食店もあって便利です。。部屋は狭いながらも、必要なものがまとまっているので快適でした。レトロモダン風の内装がおしゃれでした。開く窓はありませんでしたが、疑似的な窓があったので圧迫感はありません。バスアメニティも一通りのものが揃っててたすかりました。朝ごはんが、ホテルの1階にある鍋やで「朝から鍋！」というのが少し驚きましたが、なかなかオツなものでした。スタッフの皆さんも、アパレルと勘違いするくらいスタイリッシュでした。便利なエリアにありつつ静かですし、おすすめです。

一泊利用しました。 台湾駅からタクシーで10分ぐらいでした。 いいところ 部屋が落ち着いた雰囲気 立地がよい 西門に徒歩５分 近くにマッサージ、レストラン、コンビニがあり便利 残念なところ 防音が甘い、廊下の音や横の部屋の音が普通に聞こえます。 ホテルでゆっくりするのではなく、寝るだけの人にはいいホテルだと思います。

水回りがガラス張りでした。丸見えなのでラブホみたいです。カップルの方家族の方なら問題ないかもしれません。街の中心部にも台北駅にも近く歩ける距離で助かりました。また利用したいです。

어메니티나 수건, 침구는 깨끗한데 방 청소는 정말 안하더라고요. 체크아웃 하면 그냥 빗자루로 대충 쓰는거 봤고. 옷걸이 밑으로 립스틱이 굴러들어가서 그 아래를 들여다보았더니... 맙소사.... 주먹만한 먼지덩이랑, 슬리퍼랑, 언제 누가 먹었을지 모르는 과자 조각. 머무는동안 바닥에 먼지가 풀풀... 다른건 다 좋은데.... 이것때문에 다시는 이용 안할듯요.

สถานที่ตั้งโอเคค่ะ สามารถเดินทางไปไหนมาไหนได้สะดวก ภายในตกแต่งเก๋ดี มีมุมถ่ายรูปมากมาย อาหารเช้าบุฟเฟต์เป็นร้านอาหารที่อยู่ในโรงแรมเลย อาหารก็คล้ายๆชาบูที่กินกันในตอนเช้า สามารถเดินไปห้าง และก็สถานีรถไฟได้ไม่ไกล

โรงแรมมีห้องเยอะมากๆ แต่ส่วนใหญ่ไม่มีหน้าต่าง อยากรู้มากว่าแต่ก่อนเป็นอาคารอะไรมา (มีความรู้สึกเหมือนโรงพยาบาลเก่า) ที่ไม่ชอบคือส่วนกลางไม่มีถังขยะ ลูกค้าวางขยะไว้บนโต๊ะที่ล้อบบี้ตอนกลางคืน เช้ามาขยะยังอยู่ที่เดิม คือพนักงานไม่มีใครคิดจะเอาไปทิ้ง

Khách sạn ở ngay chợ đêm Ximending nên khá thuận tiện cho những ai muốn tham quan đi chơi trong khu này. Hàng quán xung quanh ko thiếu thứ gì, từ quán ăn sáng, trà sữa, bingsu, lẩu đến mua sắm, mát xa... Mình đặt phòng 4ng 2 giường to nhưng diện tích khá bé và bí so với mức giá. Hành lang có khá nhiều phòng nên đi hơi lòng vòng. Điểm trừ lớn nhất đối với mình có lẽ là giá phòng ko bao gồm ăn sáng mà tính riêng 200 đài tệ/người

我是外國旅客 有許多不明白 但是詢問櫃台 幾乎是沒好臉色態度也不好 櫃台服務態度超差勁 語氣音調一點也不友善也很沒禮貌 尤其是身材偏瘦配戴眼鏡有年齡的男士 不明白是當時時間太晚了累了還是怎麼樣 好聲好氣的詢問 直接語氣超差的回答我 而且全程就是不耐煩 根本沒有和善可言 第一次遇到酒店櫃台服務那麼差 基本是我說一句他硬語氣回應 你們酒店的服務方面是沒經過訓練的嗎？對待旅客服務差勁到沒話說 絕對不會選擇第二次入住

距離西門站與北門站大約走路10分鐘，房間安排的是五樓房間，無窗房，空間不大，房間以這個價格來說還算舒適，床跟枕頭都是軟硬適中，算是舒服的。但燈光昏暗、浴室偏小，淋浴間、洗臉台、馬桶分別是在三個不同區域算是乾濕分離，只有在洗臉台區域放了一台推車，在上面放置備品，無置物空間可言，衛浴區的電燈開關只有一個，要不全開，要不全關。詬病的是隔音非常糟糕，隔壁說話的聲音與開關門的聲音我聽得一清二楚。且空調風速切換的聲音令人厭煩，難以入睡，這問題必須改善。 隔天10:45退房時間還不到房間電話響起，收到前台催促，我致電前台提出希望能延遲退房的需求（1小時），服務人員拒絕了我的要求，並且告知將收取費用，顯然此飯店以低價旅館自居，櫃檯人員向我說明延後30分鐘不會收取任何費用，我們也達成共識，前台仍在11點整打電話催促退房打擾房客、並且說明延遲退房的費用，我難以理解，顯然管理階層在管理上相當隨便，欠缺教育訓練。在相同區域若要住宿還有更好的選擇。

2021/12/18入住六人房，房價將近11000，看了網路的分享看到早餐吃火鍋才加購早餐，check in 時櫃檯也沒有告知早餐的用餐地點跟時間，之後詢問才被動跟我們說，且隔天去早餐報到時，竟然顯示我們沒有加購早餐（前一天櫃檯已確認我們有加購早餐），還要等待早餐櫃檯跟飯店櫃檯做確認，更意外的是早餐竟然「不是火鍋」，且菜色非常敷衍（看起來就像是拿火鍋店沒有煮完的食材來做早餐的感覺），如果早餐有更改方式，應該要主動告知吧？城市商旅的相關飯店，價格雖然不是很貴，但也不算便宜，這樣的早餐真的無法接受，建議要住的人不用加購早餐！！！

環境乾淨，房間擺設佈置可以，浴室跟廁所都有分開還有洗手台，床鋪短了點，對於高的人來說腳會伸出去，這點就比較可惜，位置地點在西門町，去哪邊也都很方便，飯店環境乾淨，但電梯看起來髒髒的，隔音一般，關於缺點是如果你住兩天，你一天一個訂單，你還要在隔天早上11點前去check in and out一次，非常不方便還要特地早起床去辦理，另外當天check in櫃台說如果要清掃房間跟他們說，如果沒說就不會整理房間！？

選擇週五進行油漆工程，是專業飯店經營團隊有的思維？ 如是必需工程是否應該安排，讓房客前往非油漆工程樓面？ 整個4樓區域全是油漆臭味，是要如何休息、放鬆、睡覺？ 哈囉，就是是疫情期間，也麻煩顧慮房客權利，好嗎！

客務： 2021年2月14日晚間11點半左右，經過一樓大廳櫃台前，櫃檯女職員與男員工執勤當下言語嬉鬧，未與來往經過住客greeting。員工素質差、教育訓練失敗。 房務： 如照所示：1.地板上多根頭髮（衛生差）2. 廁所排風扇周遭灰塵（過敏源）3.床上方電燈罩灰塵（過敏源）4.冷氣濾網未清潔（冷氣不會冷、過敏源）5.床單有破洞、頭髮、黑點污漬（衛生差、不重視住客感受）。 房間內有股異味，類似發霉與動物屍臭味。 餐飲： 早餐現場稍有看到一位年紀服務人員講話沒禮貌，欲規勸其他客人使用夾子夾麵包，竟然用「哈嘍，用夾子。」這種不符合服務業基本禮儀說話方式。明顯員工教育訓練不足。早餐食材稀少。取餐動線差，烤麵包機使用常會被其他客人勿拿，且現場空間不足，無法保持社交距離，建議多開放其他區域，避免全都擠在一起。 其他： 房間內部無法收都手機訊號。中華電信與遠傳電信皆完全無訊號。縱使提供免費無線網路，連線訊號品質奇差無比，有跟沒有一樣。 整體而言完全沒有值得推薦的地方。不能給0顆星，只能給1顆星。

飯店員工不管是訂房部還是前台的Tiffany Chang均是見錢而做的人，沒有真的不會因客人所需而作出決定以及「沒有信用卡就直接取消」，雖然做事的人頗爛，房間一般來說都不錯

工業風的4星Hotel，實際體驗一晚之後，它的價值應該只介於2～2.5星級Hotel之間。 優點： 1.「價格」真的很親民，2020/6/8 在Agoda定了「舒適單人房」一晚不含早餐，含稅價竟然新台幣$700有找，有一顆🌟 2.冷氣，夠強、夠冷； 燈光照明，足夠明亮，再加一顆🌟 缺點： 1.客人被要求自己輸入「訂單編號」：入住的時候竟然客人要在入住櫃檯自己輸入「訂單編號」於觸控螢幕電腦，為什麼櫃檯人員不能自己輸入呢？況且你們的觸控螢幕上面好髒、好油，按觸起來實在很不舒服。 1. 牆壁太薄，隔音效果非常差，隔壁稍微說一句話或者講個電話完全幾乎可以聽得清楚。 2.床墊太軟軟軟軟軟，床墊會這麼軟啪啪的Hotel，一般不會在四星級的Hotel出現。 3毛巾置物籃，堆積的灰塵清楚易見：這樣的毛巾用起來心裡面真的毛毛的。 希望貴飯店的管理階層能看到這些問題並且早日改進。

今天剛退房。整個五月入住了海霸王集團的四間飯店，兩間城市商旅、德立莊和這家，這家是整體最爛的。服務人員真的很好，願意協助和幫忙，但飯店基本標準沒有，真的只能給一顆星。一開始飯店人員就很熱心的協助我的房型部分，在飯店不是全滿的情況下，願意客製化盡量滿足客人需求。但飯店人員說要給我的房跟實際上拿到的房不同，想說算了，結果進房後發現有空調問題，只好尋求協助就換了旁邊的房間。沒想到旁邊的房間竟然是噩夢的開始！雖然比較寬敞，但進房後就發現門口的燈壞了，靠近浴室的燈泡也在閃，這都還好，惡夢開始於菸味的飄入！當時很累所以就先休息小睡一下，想說睡醒之後外出吃晚餐再上去跟櫃台反應，順便把空調開很強想說這樣煙味可能會被吸走。醒來之後大概晚上８、９點出門向櫃台反應，針對菸味櫃檯沒有表示，但有說會來我房間看看燈泡狀況，也願意讓我再度換房。當時趕著出門也想說可能房間在我外出期間會被處理好恢復正常，所以沒有選擇換房。大概晚上１１點回到飯店，跟櫃台詢問燈泡問題，櫃台說要等隔天工務來修理，但也同意讓我換房。一到房間發現仍有煙味，但夜深懶得收行李，又擔心房間沒有更好，所以就將就過了一晚。隔天早上被走廊的房務吵醒，因為隔音很差，大概是我這個五月來入住海霸王旗下四間最差的一間。醒來之後我就開電視，沒想到電視不停閃爍，無法好好觀看，這一瞬間我的理智線斷了，本來要將就不換房但真的覺得無法在這間房繼續住下去。這也是我整個五月入住四間海霸王旗下飯店，唯一的一次換第二次房，之前僅有一次在德立莊入住後沒多久發現房間電話壞掉和空調問題而被馬上換房，但換到正常功能良好的房間之後也就開心入住到退房。下午外出的時候，跟櫃台說明我的狀況，同時出示影片和照片，櫃台跟我道歉並且幫我換房，但除此之外入住到功能不全的房間也沒有其他的表示，對比之下，德立莊當時有送我小禮物而且主動送新房卡到房間給我。換到新房間之後，我又崩潰了！雖然非常安靜，但是一打開房間整個充滿感冒糖漿的味道，大概也是空調問題吧！空調開最大但過了很久仍未散去，真的懶得再換房，也不敢相信會換到更好的房型，所以就決定算了，反正只剩一晚。也因為房間異味問題不是很想待在房間，只好和朋友出去到凌晨４－５點才回來，真的是浪費錢，花錢還不敢住。隔天早上退房前，該房還馬桶阻塞，我自己用免洗筷把內容物撈起來，生平第一次撈這種東西，完全崩潰！雖然服務人員很好，都願意讓我換房，但是飯店最基本的要求，一個可以好好睡覺、功能正常的房間都沒有的話，真的不會在入住了，也不會給予好的推薦，是我五月入住來的最差體驗。另外地點也普通，遠不如同在西門的德立莊，完全不推薦！！！歡迎各位去看我其他的評論（同為海霸王集團且在五月入住的德立莊、城市商旅），就知道我絕對客觀評價，有兩家我給予非常好的評價，且如實描述，並非挑剔酸民或奧客。

很怱忙的要去台北一天，在跟公司有合作的飯店裡，這個集團的旅館算是比較實際，位置也很靠近地鐵站很好找。一人空間說大不大，但實在夠用。盼日後有空再拜訪。

位於萬華環河路附近的飯店，如果從捷運站走路來拖著行李不太方便，建議還是搭計程車比較省力。服務人員很親切，房間寬大，廁所乾濕分離。隔音較差。早餐有提供火鍋，可以直接吃到飽，旅遊省下午餐的時間直接玩到晚上。

這家住過兩次都住在B1，白天櫃檯人員親切有禮。第一次入住，印象很好偏角落的房間大小適中乾淨，第二次住1110，第一天晚上半夜三點空調就壞掉，室溫開始慢慢升高變成類似三溫暖的蒸氣室無法入睡，打給前台人員，他教我怎麼調整但等了半個小時還是無效，之後他拿梯子過來修，但修不好。令我傻眼的來了，他說：今天客房比較滿沒房間可以給你換，不然我拿電扇借你，明天早班房務會修。之後又改口不然我們還有一間很小間的可以暫住一晚，明天繼續住這間。後來交涉後櫃檯讓我們升等去樓上住。 弄到半夜四點拖著行李換房間櫃檯人員也臭臉說抱歉，好像我在凹他升等，個人住過德立莊集團飯店數次，這是第一次讓我感覺很差。

住了兩次.也是租WIFI 蛋上網, 當入了B1房間,接受開始慢下來,再行入到洗手間即頭收不了, 但上回地面便沒有問題(正明不是電訊公司問題.

位置距離捷運站五分鐘路程，就在西門町附近，可以逛街和看電影，都是年輕人常到的地方。至於酒店內部就別具一格，都是工業風裝潢。而且酒店有間酒吧，是台灣手工釀酒廠的店，有限定啤酒，很不錯。

服務員很有禮，房間沒有很大但整齊乾淨，自家製個人護理用品很不錯。廁所是乾濕分離的，很好！但不足的是，酒店地理位置沒有說十分方便，從西門站走過來要十多分鐘，拖著行李箱走的確會有點吃力。但酒店性價比極高。

最值得一提的當然是很特別的火鍋早餐! 晨早起身未訓醒就食火鍋喎, 你試過未?配料選擇算是不少, 連飯都有, 食到勁飽午飯都慳番!

地點方便，距離西門町只需5分鐘路程，對面也有便利店；酒店工業風設計，時尚型格，但隔音太差，房間間格也不大。酒店的日本餐廳性價比高，可以一試！

本來對這間酒店的expectation不太高，因為真的很便宜，而且從圖片中看到覺得房間很小。但是當我們入住時，發現無論酒店還是房間都很好看。酒店大堂很有風格，很多打卡位。而且員工態度很好，我們有包裹也很樂意替我們接收。 房間方面，比想像中的大。但是同時開兩個行李還是有點困難。但是至少有一條通道在房間，有走動空間。房間裡沒有window, 但在台北也有很多這類型的酒店，所以對我來說還好。而且即是沒有window，也沒有不舒服的感覺。 廁所的設計的透明的，但有窗簾可以遮住。雖然與朋友同住，但有窗簾就沒有那麼尷尬。廁所相對上很大，而且很時尚。很喜歡他們的廁所。

工業風的裝潢充滿一股時尚感，房間乾淨、床舖舒適，熱水備品等都不錯，早餐有火鍋是一大亮點，火鍋真的好吃，可惜稀飯與配菜就不佳，房間裡頭有免費wifi，缺點是收訊不佳，一直無法接通室內電話。

工業風，旅館很大會迷路，感覺進入另一個世界 地點方便 西門町旁邊，早餐自助式火鍋 暖呼呼的，房間乾淨俐落。

雖然從外觀清楚看到是舊建築改裝， 但內部裝潢很漂亮。飯店前台位於地上（港式中文）/一樓(台式中文），中庭的水池既華麗又有現代感！ 客人很多，任何服務都需要排隊等候。

位於西門町逛街非常方便，早餐是打狗霸火鍋吃到飽，工業風的設計，都是很新鮮的體驗，配合政府的旅遊補助，以少少的錢，能住到CP值超高的住宿，推一個

房間有很多小蒼蠅飛來飛去，隔音非常差，隔壁房間洗澡，完全聽到水聲及水管流水的聲音。而最嚴重的就是洗澡後，漏水到房間外，第一晚沒有這麼嚴重，只有廁所入口梯級的那扇小窗滴水，第二晚就漏了一攤水在房間，要自行抹地，check out時跟櫃臺職員說了，她只是要求拍我電話中的照片，然後只說會要求同事幫我跟進，但我已經check out了，不是幫我跟進吧，最重要是一句「不好意思」或「抱歉」都沒有說，所以，以後不會再入住了。

走路到西門町很快，方便極點. 西門町不用介紹, 食的買的都開得晚。風格走文青, 唯一房間有點小。不過比較新淨還是不錯選擇。

地點位於西門町旁邊，食的、買的、抓娃娃也在旁邊，十分方便。最特別的是他們的早餐是火鍋，住了5個晚上也有吃火鍋，真的不錯，只是房間小了一點點。
