住宿地點交通便利，距離西門町六號出口不到五分鐘的距離。附近有星巴克跟便利商店。住宿位在舊大樓內，樓下其他樓層有歌廳、餐廳，不要被樓下擺設嚇到了。出電梯後，晚上大門需要門卡才能打開。許多旅人會在交誼空間聊天，戶外陽台也有吸菸區，並有投幣式的洗衣機跟烘衣機，不過陽台無法晾衣服。進出房門都是使用門卡感應，並有電子鎖櫃，床頭旁也有小空間可以置物，很貼心。此次入住14人房，空間規劃得宜，並不會感到很擁擠的感覺。每張床都有簾子，不過無法完全遮蔽，有縫隙。房內冷氣為中央空調，入住兩晚，第一晚很冷，第二晚就還好。早上提供簡單吐司。床位數很多，不過廁所僅有四間，浴室也五六間而已，尖峰時期需要等待。
可以「聽歌」的西門窩

在某網站看到介紹西門窩是年青人必去的旅舍，而且價錢相宜，所以就訂了。乘捷運到西門站，走出口6（不要相信是出口1...太遠而且沒有升降機）就到了西門町。我晚上去的時候，找不到門口，方才發現西門窩的大樓，下面的樓層是歌廳⋯⋯這也就解釋了為甚麼西門窩檯台會提供免費耳塞給大家（笑）。我訂的是男女混合的床位。房間感覺不錯，走到走廊盡頭就是廁所和洗澡室，明亮乾淨。Common Area有廚房，早上也有免費早餐提供（前提是你必須很早起床）。露台有乾洗機和洗衣機，方便旅客。
櫃台親切一級棒

首先，位於西門町鬧區內，交通地理位置真的沒話說~然後印象深刻的就是櫃台了，真的很用心介紹很熱情態度超級讚，再來裡面有超多外國人的可以聊天認識一下，前提是願意去攀談啦哈哈，總之呢，整體是不錯的，然後衛浴和廁所還可以更棒加油!!!!
適合單獨旅行的青年旅館

這裡離捷運站很近，交通方便，床位也蠻大的，衛浴設備是獨立於房間之外的，所以不怕晚歸吵到別人，還貼心在床位旁邊設有門簾所以也不會被別人干擾而且附有免費早餐和拖鞋浴帽，覺得非常貼心!!如果下次還有機會來台北的話，這裡會是首選!!

幾位大陸的學弟到台灣來參加環島旅行，為他們預定了離捷運站近、方便又可四處逛逛的西門窩青年旅社，事前因為付款、人數以及行李寄放的問題，多次與旅社的人員聯繫，他們提供了很親切的服務，也給予了很多的方便與建議，未來如果有朋友要來台灣住宿，一定會再推薦👍
水準仍能保持

2年後重住這家飯店是因為不會太多時間待在酒店，只想有一個地方放行李、洗澡以及能睡幾個小時後去辦公務。我在凌晨辦理入住，但服務人員也很有禮貌而且也跟我聊了幾句，這是人情味而不是冷語幾句就算。如廁的地方確實比較窄，如果身型比較胖的人真的不知如何去解決生理問題了，哈哈。房間也比較好，只可是會常常聽到開關門聲之外，身邊的人用電話聊天真的不想聽到她在說什麼，畢竟夜深真的很想睡睡覺。

地點座落於鬧區西門町，晚上不怕沒有東西吃，小露台很棒，早餐有火腿跟蛋可以自己做，也有供應美式咖啡！超喜歡的！房間的床超舒服，可惜靠近門的位子會一直聽到開關門聲，除此之外一切都很棒！

前幾天來了一個台北快閃之旅. 住了一間充滿活力的青年旅館.這青年旅館位於台北青年熱門集中地-西門町內裏.由西門町捷運站六號出口步行只需三分鐘.當我一進入hostel裏,整個人立即充滿著生命力,因有兩位可愛活潑的職員來一個可愛的歡迎笑容,之後還在Common area裏認識了超讚的housekeeping姐姐-葉子. 不過,最開心,最榮幸的,當然可以遇見西門窩的老闆娘-欣欣.臨離開台北時讓我遇見她,真榮幸. 她真強,年紀輕輕這麼本事可以擁有不少一間青年旅館.望著她,我的腦袋她真的是我的目標. 講真,如想在香港創一間青年旅館真的很難,因香港最大的問題就是租金貴. 那,唯有想下吧!或香港以外的地區.這青年旅館,是我的人生住過的旅館五強之內.我最愛,就是在熱鬧的西門町市中心上空,忙裡偷閒嘆著一杯熱騰騰咖啡及冰凍台灣啤酒,真的吸引著我不想外出.但唯一缺點,就是在紅包廳附近. 起初,真的沒有想過,如來這hostel,也要由這門口進入. 不過,最緊要是,讓我住得好,瞓得好. 住在紅包廳裏,也沒關係啦!

優點: 地點離捷運站近、接待人員親切、有免費的茶水咖啡、衛浴設備乾淨、有很多吹風機、早餐自己DIY(有提供果醬、蛋、火腿、吐司、小餐包)、廚房設備一應具全、雙人床很夠雙人睡、床也很舒適乾淨缺點: 樓下是卡拉OK店而且營業到凌晨，就會一直聽到唱歌的聲音，但西門窩有提供耳塞，塞住後就聽不太到了XD 反而最吵的是外面交誼廳說話的聲音~

Hostel的每個環節都維護得很好品質很高。鄰近西門捷運站，就在西門町內，生活機能相當好，飲食、娛樂、購物都能滿足。房間走道雖然不大，但床鋪舒適寬敞床邊也配有獨立感應鎖的置物櫃，相當便利又安全~衛浴設備很齊全，且乾淨明亮沒有異味~接待人員親切又幽默，住在那裏相當舒適自在，認識好多朋友~

雖然地點壅擠、招牌不明顯，卻是一家優質的背包客旅店，環境舒適度也夠。在旅店裡使用頻率最高的其實是洗澡間與臥室，次要的才是交宜空間與廚房，不過這四樣需求都做得很有品質，室友們都很開心地彼此聊天。重要的是，他就在西門町精華地段，搭乘交通工具與享受美食都非常方便，值得去試試看!

整體是不錯的，員工人很好，地方也算安靜。特別喜歡沐浴露和洗髮精, 香味讓人很relax, 不過蓮蓬頭是固定的很不方便, 只是洗身卻要連頭一起洗。房間睡比較裡面會有點感覺得到空氣不太流通、晚上可以到露台休息很舒服只要不怕蚊子咬 XD

看到網路評價很好~臨時來西門需要住宿一晚~上了樓去問價格~櫃台人員一副愛理不理的樣子。再多問也是很冷漠的樣子，因為還沒成為客人嗎? 沒有感受到網路上所說的親切有禮~ =客觀來說~地點真的很好 就在西門的最熱鬧區某大樓上。

ที่พักไต้หวัน สำหรับนักเดินทางบางทีก็ไม่ได้ดีอย่างที่อ่านรีวิว ส่วนตัวไม่ได้เรื่องมากของแค่สะอาดพอ สำหรับที่บอกเลยว่าไม่ wow (ดีแต่รูป) อย่างที่คิด ห้องอาบน้ำ/ส้วม นอกจากจะใช้รวมช/ญ แล้วยังมีน้อย(5ห้อง) แถมเสีย+สกปรก อีกหาก แนะนำ Next เดินเลยขึ้นหน่อยข้างวัตสัน โอกว่าเยอะ เสียดายไม่ได้ถ่ายเก็บไว้

โรงแรมตั้งอยู่ใจกลาง Ximending สามารถออกได้ที่ exit.6 แล้วตรงมาเรื่อยๆจนเห็นร้านสตาร์บัค โรงแรมอยู่ชั้น 8 ของตึก ตอนดึกอาจมีเสียงรบกวนจากร้านคาราโอเกะภายในตึกบ้าง แต่ก็ไม่ได้รบกวนจนนอนไม่ได้ (แต่ทางโรงแรมมีที่อุดหูแจก) เลือกพักรวมห้องพักหญิงล้วนที่มีสองเตียง เตียงกว้างขวาง นอนได้ไม่ยึดอัด แต่เต้าเสียบหลวมไปหน่อยปล. แต่วันที่ 1 ก.ย. 2019 น้ำไม่ไหลจนถึง 11 โมง เดือดร้อนกันมาก
ประสบการณ์ครั้งแรกกับ Hostel

ทำเลทองมากเพราะอยู่ใจกลางย่านช้อปปิ้ง เดินลงมาจากโรงแรมก็มีพร้อมสรรพทุกสิ่งทั้งของกินแสนอร่อย ทั้งของช้อปลายตา โรงแรมสะอาด แขกก็เป็นนักท่องเที่ยวซะเกือบหมดทั้งญี่ปุ่น และยุโรปทำให้สบายใจที่มีเพื่อนร่วมโรงแรมที่มีมารยาท การใช้ห้องน้ำ พื้นที่ส่วนรวมก็ดูเกรงอกเกรงใจกันดี ล็อปบี้ที่เป็นศูนย์รวมของแขกจัดได้น่านั่งกิน นั่งดืม นั่งคุย พนักงานโรงแรมก็จะชวนแขกเล่นบอร์ดเกมส์บ้าง เล่นกีต้าร์พาให้บรรยากาศเพลินกันไป เป็นการพัก Hostel ครั้งแรกในชีวิตที่ทำให้มีทัศนคติดีกับ Hostel ไปเลย แนะนำประสบการณ์แบบนี้สำหรับนักเดินทางค่ะ

โฮสเทลตั้งอยู่ย่านซีเหมิน เดินไมไกลจากสถานีรถไฟใต้ดิน Ximen ซึ่งนับว่าสะดวกมากๆ ครับ แนะนำเลย ห้องน้ำก็สะอาดแต่ไม่ได้แยะชายหญิง มีอาหารเช้าไว้บริการ ส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นขนมปัง ไข่ ซึ่งเราต้องบริการตัวเอง ทางโฮสเทลอนุญาตให้นำอาหารขึ้นมากินและทำอาหารเองได้ด้วย ข้อเสียอย่างนึง คือ ตอนกลางคืนจะได้ยินเสียงคาราโอเกะจากชั้นอื่น แต่ทางโฮสเทลก็แจก earplug มาให้ แต่สำหรับผมไม่ค่อยมีปัญหาครับเพราะกลับมาก็ดึกและเหนื่อยมากๆ เลยหลับสบายหน่อย

удобно расположен, недалеко от метро, но первый раз его тяжело найти - вход запрятан между магазинами. очень дружелюбный персонал, красивый интерьер, много душевых и туалетных комнат. есть отличная веранда почти под крышей.

Dit hostel ziet er hip en stijlvol uit! Het ligt midden in de bruisende en populaire wijk Ximending. Van de buitenkant is het even zoeken waar de ingang is. De kamer was netjes, schoon en verzorgd, maar wel gehorig! Bij aankomst krijg je gratis oordopjes om te geluid van de karaokebar een beetje tegen te gaan. Gelukkig stopt de karaoke meestal rond twaalf uur. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding is zeer goed en de locatie is een topper!

1. 2만원대에 1박을 했기때문에 시설 크게 기대 안 했는데 깔끔했어요. 침대도 깨끗하고 냄새도 안나고 화장실도 청소 잘 해두었더라구요 ㅎㅎ 다만 샤워실 곰팡이 냄새가 좀 힘들었어요ㅜ 침대를 제외한 공간은 정말 좁아요2. 직원들 영어 잘 해서 너무 편했고 다들 친절했어요 3. 발코니? 식으로 맥주 마실만한 곳이 있었는데 거기가 참 좋았어요 ㅎㅎ 바람도 쐴 겸4. 조식은 직접 조리해먹어야해요. 설거지도 본인이 해야하고요. 호텔조식 생각하면 퀄리티가 너무 낮아보일 수 있는데 1박가격이 워낙 저렴해서 그럭저럭 만족했어요.5. 같은 건물에 유흥주점이 있어서 시끄러울 수 있는데 전 너무 피곤해서 일찍 잠든 탓에 잘 모르겠더라구요. 위치가 워낙 좋으니까(역과 가깝고 밤늦게 위험하지않음) 감안할 정도는 되는 것 같아요. 한번쯤 가보기 좋았고 전 1박이 딱 적당하고 좋은 것 같았습니다 ㅎㅎ 호텔숙박이 가능하면 호텔을 추천하고싶고 비슷한 가격대에 호스텔을 찾으신다면 강추예요!

일단 이 건물에서 언제까지 이루어지는지 모를 공사소음이 아침 8시부터 난리입니다. 건물벽뚫는소리에 자동 기상이고요 낮까지 호스텔 전체에 울려서 견딜수가 없습니다. 스텝은 친절하지만 숙박객과 친목하느라 그런진 몰라도 12시 넘어서까지 시끌벅적 떠드는 사람과 새벽 드라이기 이용자에 대한 제재가 하나도 없습니다. 자고싶은사람은 환장파티... 이 호스텔의 단점으로 꼽히는 가라오케 소음은 한번도 거슬린적이 없어요. 다른소음이 가라오케를 가볍게 뛰어넘거든요^^ 아침은 제공해주는 달걀과 식빵으로 알아서 조리해먹으면 되는데 후라이팬 코팅 다 벗겨져서 눌어붙어가지고 다음사람 주기도 민망하고... 드라이기는 몇 초 쓰다보면 과열되어서 꺼지고요.. 열악하다는 표현이 딱입니다. 제발 더 좋은데 가세요

시먼역 내에서 저렴하게 지낼 수 있는 최고의 게스트하우스!!1박에 2만원도 하지 않는 저렴한 가격에 개인 프라이버시 공간과 넉넉한 샤워시설, 그리고 무엇보다 여행자에게 가장 중요한 조식 무료제공!! 토스트를 직접 만들어 먹을 수 있었는데 가장 좋은 제도가 아니였나 생각해요!^^
カラオケがうるさくて寝られない。

下の階に飲み屋があって、そこのカラオケが明け方までひっきりなしに大音量で聞こえる。全然寝れなかった。部屋はベニア板で仕切られた簡易的なカプセルタイプで、中はまぁまぁ広い。階段下スペースがセキュリティボッックスみたいな感じの簡易的な収納があり、とりあえずカードキーで開閉するのである程度のセキュリティは有ると思う。でもこのセキュリテイボックスを開閉する度にウィンウィン結構でかい音がするので、これで目覚める時が何度かあった。連泊したが、その最中はシーツのか交換、清掃等は無い。寝ていると、小さい虫が動いてるのを発見。テントウムシを平べったくしたような小さな虫。なんだかわからなかったけど、とりあえず潰した。ちょっと怖かった。まぁ立地条件は最高だし価格も安いのでそれ相応かもしれないけど、俺はもう二度と泊まらない。
若者に人気のきれいなゲストハウス

トランジットのため使用。夜二時ごろのチェックインであったが、スタッフは快く対応。２段ベットの個室に泊まったが、コンセントなどもあり、十分に利用。また、トランジットの際には利用したいですね。
朝食の準備について

7：30からが朝食時間だということで、その時間に食堂（共有テーブル）に行ったが、それらしき準備がされていなかった。冷蔵庫を開けるとパン・チーズ・ハム・たまご等がしまって有ったので、これを出して食べようと試みたところﾃｰﾌﾞﾙに座っていた女性が食事の準備を始めた。←どうやらこの方が、宿関係者のようでした。 この点だけがややマイナス点ですが、他は大変快適でした。※下の階のカラオケは確かに聞こえましたが、私はそんなに音が気にならないほうなので問題とは思いませんでした。
本当にうるさい

女性用ドミトリーを2泊利用。チェックイン時に耳栓を渡されると口コミで見ていたが、本当にカラオケの音が一日中鳴り響いていて、共有スペースに行くと聞こえないのに、客室では朝から晩までずっとうるさかった。朝食は付いているが、キッチンの調理スペースが極端に小さくてコンロも一つだけなので順番待ちになる。1フロアのみのホステルで、シャワーとトイレも男女共有、あまり掃除が行き届いておらず不潔で使うのに気が引けた。清潔感、音が気にならない人は全然ありだと思うが、女性にはオススメしない。あと入り口が完全に風俗の入り口なので入りづらかった。
上下がカラオケで夜までうるさい

寝るのにはあまり適していません。また、コンファームメールなどもなく、サービスは悪いです。共通スペースなどの雰囲気は良いですし、入り口すぐなのでコミュニケーションは取りやすいですが。カラオケの女性の顔がたくさん貼られている、本当にここ？というところにエレベーターがあり、夜中じゅう歌声が鳴り響いています。ちょっと柄の悪いおじさんもいますし、治安はいいとは思いますが、とにかく人が多すぎますし、賑やかすぎて私はあまり好きになれませんでした。駅から近く、賑やかなのが好きで、夜もとにかく遊びたい人にはいいかと思います。
おしゃれでロケーションが最高

街のど真ん中にあるホステルで観光に便利でした！ロッカーもカードキーで使いやすく、ベット脇にプラグや小物おきがあり便利でした！ただ、シャーワーが狭いのや騒音があり敏感な方にはおすすめしません。私は敏感ではないのですが、部屋のドアが重く閉まる時の振動で起こされることがよくありました。チェックインの時に耳栓もらえるので騒音は大丈夫ですが、ドアの音と振動はわかります。
西門駅近くの清潔で、リーズナブルなホステル

台北駅から地下鉄が直通している西門駅。西門駅から繁華街を通り、徒歩5分ほどのところにあるホステルです。入り口がわかりづらいので、渡航前にしっかりと確認しておくことをおすすめします。部屋に入るのはカードキーが必要なので、セキュリティも安心できます。

私は一人旅でシーメンワオホステルに３泊４日で滞在しました。女性ドミトリールームに泊まりました。私は英語は話せますが中国語はわからないので、ホテルに英語対応のスタッフがいて、ホテルの説明や台湾旅行についてフレンドリー話してもらえて助かりました！また、チェックイン時のホテルの説明書きには日本語があったので、英語・中国語がわからない人でも大丈夫でしょう。西門駅から歩いてすぐで観光しやすく、夜も繁華街で人通りも多かったです。ホステルのラウンジもオシャレなカフェみたいで居心地が良くて、色々な国の観光客が集まっててグローバルな雰囲気でした。ルームのドアと貴重品ロッカーはカード式で、セキュリティ面も安心できると思います。楽しい台湾の旅になりました♪

西門町駅から、大変近いです。パブリックスペースとベランダは、共にコンパクトですが、快適です。女子ドミトリーに1泊しました。寝るだけならば、問題ありません。新しく清潔な印象でした。ベットの横にあるロッカーは、機内持ち込みサイズ大のサイズです。ベットサイドのコンセントは、一つなので、二股コンセントを持って行くと良いでしょう。私は、ベットの外の部屋の壁のコンセントでケータイの充電をしました。また、パブックスペースのテーブルで充電している人もいました。トイレ、シャワー、洗面所は、男女共有です。ほぼ、満員でしたが、満員で利用できないことは、ありませんでした。コーヒーやお茶は、無料でいつでも飲めます。ペットボトルの水や瓶ビールをホステル内で買うことができます。水500ml10元でした。朝食は、パン、ハム、卵。卵は自分で調理します。私は、外食したので、食べませんでした。ホステルは、建物の８階で、建物の入口は、初めての時は、わかりにくいです。９階の「小王子❤ホテル」の看板が光っているので目印にするといいです。又、道路の向かいに、１階セブン、2階スタバの建物があります。階下がカラオケ屋さんで、チェックインの時に、耳栓をくれますが、夜１２時過ぎれば、通り自体静かです。（１２時に帰ってきました。）台北には、他にもよいホステルがたくさんあると思いますが、ここは、安いのにちゃんとしてると思います。日本にもあるユースホステル協会のホステルでした。また、利用してもいいと思えるホステルですが、ベランダにある洗濯機と乾燥機の使い方が、（英語、中国語が解らないと）難しそうだったので、夏はどうかな？と思います。立地上？スペース上？洗濯は干せません。Wifi快適です。

時間前チェックインもさせてくれたし、写真程綺麗ではないがコンパクトに全てが揃っている。下がカラオケのため耳栓をくれる。（笑）朝はパンに卵とハムもついて自分で焼くスタイル。朝、夜共に共有スペースは少し混み合う。近隣にはどんな店でもあるため困らないし、西門からいろんな場所へのアクセスも良く便利。

２回目のひとり海外旅行。初めての台湾。初めてのドミトリー部屋。台北に着いたその日にネットで検索して、ダブルのお部屋が空いていたので予約しました。とってもとっても快適でした！最寄りの駅は 西門（Ximen）駅。台北車站（Taipei main station）からMRTでたった一駅。立地条件バッチリ。ただ入り口が見つけにくい。目印はユニクロ、セブンとスタバ、そしてエレベーターに続く入り口には、たくさんのキャバ嬢の写真！（笑）ビルの最上階にWOWの看板見えます。夜のカラオケの音がうるさいというレビューもありますが、台北の都会の喧騒という感じ。それはそれで私には心地よかったです。それも23時くらいには静かになります。※そもそも本当の静寂を求める方にはドミトリーはオススメしません。スタッフさんは親切で優しいし、昼間いる掃除担当のおばちゃんは日本語しゃべれます。お部屋きれい。ビーサン貸出あり。水とコーヒー・紅茶は無料サービス。朝食用に、卵と食パンも。タバコを吸う方は、素敵なバルコニーで吸えます。居心地が良すぎて、出かけたくなかった。台湾で、ここが1番お気に入りの場所かもです。皆さんよい旅を。ちなみに写真のお部屋はダブルです。

Setelah membaca ulasan bagus dari beberapa situs berkenaan hostel ini, saya pun akhirnya membuat keputusan untuk menempah penginapan selama 3 malam kami di Taipei. Namun, apa yang saya alami tidak sesuai dengan apa yang diulas para teman-teman traveller lainnya. Saya dan teman saya mendapatkan sebuah tempat tidur kongsi di bagian atas. Hal pertama yang saya perhatikan adalah betapa kotornya saluran pipa air yang menempel di samping atas ruang tidur kami. Saluran pipa itu penuh dengan debu yang tebal sehingga membuat kami merasa jijik dan jorok. Lokasi tempat tidur kami yang terletak bersebelahan kamar mandi juga menjadi isu buat kami karena beberapa kali kami hampir terpeleset jatuh saat naik turun dari tempat tidur akibat dari lantai yang basah gara-gara air dari kamar mandi yang terciprat keluar. Harusnya pihak hostel menyediakan karpet atau lap di depan kamar mandi agar air yang terciprat tidak mengalir ke mana-mana.Ruang kamar mandinya juga sangat kecil dan sempit, jadi jika hendak mandi harus berhati-hati karena ruang sempit bisa membuat pakaian ganti gampang basah terciprat air. Untuk pengetahuan anda, hostel ini terletak di lantai 8, sementara di lantai 4 dan 6 adalah bar karaoke di mana suara bising akan selalu menemani anda setiap malam. Buat yang gampang terbangun saat tidur, hostel ini pastinya bukan pilihan tepat. Selain itu, anda juga dipastikan akan dengan mudahnya bertembung dengan orang mabuk dan bekas muntahan yang sudah pastinya sangat menjijikkan saat hendak menuju ke hostel ini pada waktu malam. Tambahan pula, ruang bawah tempat menunggu lift juga mempunyai bau busuk yang memualkan. Pengalaman pertama saya di hostel ini cukup sekali dan terakhir saja.

No puede estar mejor ubicado. Las personas que trabajan ahí son majísimos y están atentos a cualquier cosa que necesitas, sin duda volvería. Tiene un ambiente muy tranquilo y con muy buen rollo. El hostal está limpio y tiene cocina y utensilios para poder usar en caso de querer cocinar algo.

Stayed in a 6 person female dorm, upper bunk closest to the doorPlaced my luggage with the hostel before I checked in & after I checked out. Luggage is stored in the common area, by the walkway.Noise insulation not the best, could hear karaoke singing downstairs and video played in the common area (There was an event in the common area which ended at 9pm). Free earplugs are provided at the check-in counter.Room doors are not light, some residents did not close the door lightly despite reminders posted on the door and the check-in staff reminding on the first day. Could hear some slams in the middle of the night.Much privacy within each bed, with blackout curtains. Might not be able to see steps if both blackout curtains are drawn close.Lockers large enough to put a cabin size baggage with excess space.Same free breakfast (Bread + toaster, ham, eggs, jams) daily. Pans, cutlery, and cups provided.24 hour security in form of door lock at main door when check-in staff are not around (11pm - 7am). Main door can be unlocked by access card (Pin code given if check in after 11pm).Staff are friendly & helpful, with great knowledge.

Very affordable hostel! It was well maintained and cleaned regularly. I love how they host story nights where guests would gather at the common area and just converse. During my stay, Taiwanese were not as friendly and accommodating to us Filipinos compared to other nationalities like Japanese, Koreans, and Americans. It was not bad though, and this is just nitpicking. I just noticed it and it isn't a requirement. The place is strategically place in the middle of Ximending Youth DIstrict where the action is. You can leave your baggage in the hostel but there isn't really a closed space for them, they will be left near the common area without doors or separations, we left them there and there's nothing stolen or broken. I really liked this place!

Decent hostel, beds are good, security is good, beds are private and bathrooms are maintained. Staff are not very friendly and didn't find that there was an amazing vibe in the hostel (but not a bad one). One night it was Baltic in the room but they turned the AC down the next night.After I checked out they kept my backpack for a few hours and let me use the facilities which was great.The location is excellent, in the middle of a fun area, close to the MRT and generally in the centre of the city. If you're looking for it, look for a vertical sign which is in amongst other signs! (The hostel is in a building with other businesses in the building inc a darkly lit function room and a dodgy looking hotel, but I didn't feel unsafe there, it was just amusing!)
A very convenient and strategic place to crash

Location, location, location. The best thing about Ximen WOW Hostel is the location. It is right smack in the middle of the Ximending area, and a short couple of minutes walk from the Ximending MRT Station. I just needed a place to crash, sleep, and store my stuff while I was out almost the entire day traveling and stuff, and this is a very nice place to stay.It is a mixed-gender dorm type of accommodations, with as much as 16 beds to a room bunking up together. You get your own small locker (enough to fit a large backpack or a small luggage) to go along with your bunk bed, but it has enough space for you to move around (especially if you're a small, 5' 1" guy like me). The bathrooms and toilets are common, and a little cramped, but hey, it's Taiwan, they make use of every nook and cranny they can squeeze money and utility on.Breakfast is available - the usual cereals and toast and spreads - and eggs that you need to cook for yourself. The kitchen is cramped as well - it doesn't give much room for more than one person at a time to use, two if they're really chummy with each other - but again, not too much trouble for the prices that they charge you. There is coffee and hot chocolate and tea available as well. The common area is very spacious though, with a nice balcony as well. The thing is that it is tricky to find within Ximending because the hostel occupies an entire floor of a very busy building in a very busy part of the area. The biggest landmark is Uniqlo. Once you're there, it's just a few meters away. You need to look up to see the sign.Again, this is one of those places which if you just need a place to crash, freshen up, and keep your things and you'll be out for like 16 to 18 hours of the day, this is an ideal place to be. And it's within Ximending, which is already an area in Taipei where there's lots and lots of things happening around within the vicinity, and very accessible to public transportation if you need to go further.

Located in the young cool area of the city; ximen. the wow hostel is perfectly positioned for you to explore this the most vibrant area of taipei..ROOMSThe rooms are set out with beds in a capsule style with full curtains for privacy, electrical outlet, light & electric locker that is super secure. I stayed in both one of the larger & smaller dorms. COMMON AREASA nice compact common area with small sofa & dining table but the best part of this area has to be the balcony it has lots of spaces and offers views of the ximen district & beyond. Bathrooms offer individual privacy with shower, sinks & mirror all in your own private shower room. SERVICES A simple but good breakfast is offered free for you every morning. eggs are also available for you to cook too if you want to rustle up some french toast. The staff are super friendly & super happy to help with all your questions. A computer is on standby if you don’t have your own & the wifi is super fast here. LOCATIONBased in ximen this is one of the busiest & I have to say coolest areas in the city. it’s where all the young people hangout & the hostel is located right in the middle of it. Just step outside the door and find yourself in the heart of this super vibrant area.

It’s my second time in Taiwan, the first being 8 years ago. It’s my first time attending gay pride and I had a tiring but amazing time. It’s such a wonderful memory for me.In order to make the trip memorable, my friend booked a hostel in the heart of the busy city. He made all the reservations and itineraries, all I had to do is be there.It’s my second time being in a hostel, and being in another one is as pleasant as the first.Location:Ximen Wow Hostel is just a few walking distance from Ximen Station. You need to take Exit 6. It’s very convenient and strategic as it’s in the middle of everything! It’s in the 8th floor of a not so new building. 7/11, street food, shopping, Red House, bars, food, you name it it’s within proximity.Unit Price:The price is considerably cheap and reasonable even if it’s considered at its peak because of the pride. You can check their website for pricing.Unit Space:I’ve already set my expectations low so I’m pretty happy with my space. It’s like a box, but enough for me to sleep and spread my arms and legs. I only use it to sleep anyways. In a room there is about 10 units (boxes) of different sizes.Bed:Quite comfortable. Like what I said about space, I already set my expectations low so I wasn’t disappointed with my bed. The sheet is white clean and odourless.Aircon:Just nice. The weather is cold and can be chilling at some point at night so aircon need not be very cold. You cannot adjust it though as it’s centralized.Water Pressure:The toilets and showers are in a common area. The pressure is good. When I discovered hot water I’m already relieved. :)Internet:Quite strong. I can video stream and use social apps with no problem. There are just a few weak spots like if you’re in the balcony (yes it has a balcony) or in the shower (of course).Room Service:Everything is self service so you better wash your own cup that you used for coffee or something. Clean as you go. However there was 1 cleaning auntie that’s kind enough to wash our plates. To show our gratitude, we gave her our receipts (it has some kind of lottery so though pretty slim, she has chances of winning some money).Hospitality:This is the game changer. Whenever I find the staffs friendly, accommodating, cheerful, vibrant, I instantly love the place. In our closeness with them we even get to hang out, drink, talk till wee hours, and be comfortable with one another. We are no longer customers and staffs, we’ve gain new friends to cherish and look forward to see on our next visit.Recommendation:I will definitely recommend this place for people who are on a budget, who are adventurous, sociable, open minded(?) and most importantly true to themselves. Okay for simple stay

Location is great, located exactly in the middle of Ximending area, about 5 minutes walk to MRT Ximen. Balcony is cool, nice atmosphere and good for chilling.Everything looks smaller than what we expected. We barely able to open our middle-sized luggage in the room, and when we do it no one can walk in or out. This is our last place to stay after half-month traveling around Taiwan so we have a lot of luggage which made us real hard time to pack it the last night due to limited space. It is a bit noisy at night, the door is also making loud noise every time someone go in or out of the room (with the most effort to keep it quiet, it still sound like BANG!). Security locker is provided for each bed, some of them detached. Please noted that locker is not big enough for middle-sized luggage and is not really safe because I once accidentally able to open it even without a key card. Common area is cramped, the same for cooking area that could fit only one people at a time while everything (dishes and knives/forks/spoons, trash bin, electric stove and washing sink) is there. We lose 1 hour every morning just to queue up to use a dirty oven, cook and then clean. Not enough sitting space, some people have to go out and do sunbath while having breakfast at the balcony. Toilet is smelly, bathroom area is in an open space at the back of the floor where sometimes water flooded out.Staff was nice but not impressive, not really helpful. I have to leave very early before 4AM but staff insisted that he can only book/call us a cab to airport, or we have to walk all the way to main street to catch one by ourselves. It's more like they're just there doing their job, I don't feel anything more from them.

A Place To Stay for Solo Backpackers

For those asking where to stay in Taipei and where to stay in Taiwan on a budget, I recommend booking in WOW hostel since it is only about 2mins away from the MRT. It is situated along the shopping stores where Ximending Night Market is most known for.The place is very cozy. They have a veranda where anyone can chill in the morning over a cup of coffee or drink beer at night. You can also cook your own food there as if you are just in your own house. The staffs are very accommodating and can converse in English.The long table at the living room serves as a meeting place where everyone gathers around either to eat, drink, socialize, meet other travelers.

This hostel is the best hostel in Taipei. Traveled with my 2 friends just last weekend. They both stayed in the single bunk beds while I stayed in the double bed alone. Here are the detailed reviews of WOW hostel: PROS*Centrally located at the heart of Ximending. The location is JUST PERFECT! Hostel is located at the 8th Floor of a building in front of Starbucks and 711. *Beds are clean and spacious, even the single beds are spacious. Beds also have own light, locker and curtain. Got a double bed for myself! *Breakfast was provided daily however it was just the basics - Eggs, ham, break, jam. Couldn't complain. *Ear plugs are provided upon arrival. Towels are for rent for NT30. Shower gel and shampoo are provided in the bathroom. *The staff are so nice and accommodating. Thanks to Jack for replying to our concerns promptly. He made sure our experience and check in is seamless and smooth. Chen also was accommodating, he helped us during check in process. *Bathroom and toilets are clean! The toilets have tissue paper and provided alcohol to clean toilets before and after usage. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the toilets. Kudos to WOW for that! Bathrooms have hair dryer as well which is a good thing. CONS*Rooms have no small trash can where we can throw some stuff. We had to go out of the room to throw tissues, cottons etc. *We had to cook our own breakfast, so if you wake up late, you'll end up waiting in line for others to finish their cooking. *Prepare for the slight noise from the lower floor. There's a bar on the 6th floor. Overall, I LOVE WOW HOSTEL. I will stay again when I go to Taipei. Highly recommended.

Stayed for 1 night only. We were planning to stay longer but changed our mind after the first night. The room situation and bed condition were not really conducive for sleeping. The shared room was cramped and the bed was hard and smelly. We stayed in other hostels that provided better mattress. In terms of location, the place is within the busy Ximending.

I am a returning guest. Stayed here for 8 nights last March 1-9,2017. It was winter (and was cold) but the hostel stayed warm and cozy all throughout my stay. All the member of the staff are very friendly. They always take the initiative to chat with a solo-traveler like me. Although the bad side here are some of the loud guests inside my room, they are a group of friends and they kept on talking and banging the door at around 2 in the morning. They are maybe thinking that they own the place. So I decided to talk to the front desk staff after holding my silence for 2 days w/o proper sleep. So they learned about my dilemma and tried to resolve it. They talked to some of the members of the group (they are 5 to 6 korean girls, the staff knows Korean) and they were able to hold their silence for a few hours and then viola! they are back to doing what they do best. The next day, I tried to talk to them, but what can I do? They do not understand me. Haha. And fyi, the earplugs that the hostel provided did not alleviate the noise at all! Aa for the noise from the Karaoke though, it was more than enough. So as a recommendation since I really love staying in your hostel, please use a Pneumatic or hydraulic door closer to your doors so that it will stay quiet even if rude guests are in the area.Btw, I stayed in Room F. I dont know if it is the same with other rooms. But this does not prevent me from coming back. I love the location, accessibility, the ever smiling staff, facilities, and the ambiance. I am actually Booked here on September! Excited to stay with you again!
Great hostel in a great location

This was exactly the sort of welcome we needed after arriving in Taipei after a long couple of days travelling. The staff are friendly, helpful and informative. The dorm rooms are comfortable, functional and safe. Bathroom and toilet facilities are cleaned regularly and there are enough for the number of guests.Each morning there is a free breakfast and there is free tea and coffee available around the clock. If you need cold bottles of water or snacks these can be bought from the reception at any time. This hostel is located about 5 minutes walk from the Ximen MRT station and it is very easy to find. Just had out of exit 6 and turn right towards KFC and Starbucks and you will see the hostel sign at the top of the building on the left.
expect the unexpected

The location of this hostel is on the 8th floor of a BLDG within the heart of Ximen Hanzhong St. It was 5:30 am when we checked- in, and will be checking out 11 am. My reservation was just to have time for a short rest and to keep us out of the street upon our arrival, before we transfer to another hotel. the personnel that attended to us was already expecting our arrival, maybe because we're the last guest to arrive. very courteous and knows how to speak in english. the breakfast was from 7:30 to 10 am (if I'm not mistaking, I was having a headache that time) he gave the key to the room. the room was full of bed, like capsule style (for single and double) but not the same with the Japanese capsule hotel. 3/4 plywood separates us from other guest and grey curtains was the cover of the bed space. free use of slippers and he gave us free ear plugs, the purpose was not to be disturbed by loud noise from the outside and of course from continuous snoring or farting of other guest that sleeps within the assigned room. fortunately other guest from that room was quiet and friendly. we were very tired so got to go to sleep. we woke up to have breakfast, breakfast was simple, toasted bread, choices of spreads, also ham slices, you can cook eggs sunny side up or scrambled eggs. it's up to you. coffee, tea, it's your choice. be careful of opening refrigerators that has signs FOR STAFF ONLY, there is a penalty! you will be paying certain amount of NTD.while having breakfast I observed the place and it was some what cute, woody, good lighting. there is a sofa set where you can read, talk, drink and meet other guest. and they have this balcony with automatic door, a view of the city's streets, a place for smokers.about the shared shower rooms and toilets, plenty but sometimes it gets crowded.over all it was just ok. a place for transient or overnight stay. but if your on a tight budget Ximen WoW hostel is good enough. no problem what so ever.BTW Ximen station is just 3mins walk, Taipei main station is 45 to an Hour walk if your a walker or just roaming the city by foot.
Noisy, not a relaxing place to stay.

- Staff were very friendly- Outdoor balcony is a nice spot for a drink- Hostel is quite small, common area is right next to dorm rooms, not much space to sit and relax.- Pillows were average.- Very noisy, even with earplugs. There is a club with live music downstairs that you can hear from bed, but more annoying is the non-stop pop music played by the hostel in the hallways and common area. It is very loud, even up till 11pm at night and from about 8 or 9am in the morning. This makes it a really un-relaxing place to stay and hard to get to sleep. We were woken up by noise several mornings.- Lights in dorm rooms are kept on 24hrs a day, so people are noisy and leave the door open, thinking people aren't trying to sleep.- Washing machine provided- Bathrooms were ok, quite cramped and a bit worn out. Some of the drains were a bit blocked. Can be quite hot and humid when windows are left open.- Breakfast is bread, ham and an egg that you have to cook yourself. There is one stove with one pan and everybody waits to cook their egg. Not really a free breakfast.In a good central location in Ximen, close to MRT, and the staff were really nice here but it is just a really noisy place to stay, not a relaxing place to come back to and rest. I would not stay here again.
Amazing place

We stayed here just 1 night for our 2 days trip in Taiwan and its my first time to stay in a dorm type room. The experience was great. The staff are friendly, the amenities are outstanding and the location is great. We arrive very early and need to freshen up, thankfully the staff allowed us to use the bathroom and leave our bags. The entrance in the first floor is quite shocking but its okay. You can locate it right away and just near the Ximen station. You can just walk on some of the tourist attractions. I will definitely recommend it to our friends and will be staying here again when I travel back in Taiwan.
free ear plugs

I was very curious why there were free ear plugs upon check in, turns out there is a club (singers, mostly 60s, 70s? taiwan music) downstairs. There's also a fair amount of noise from the streets, but hey, this is Ximen!Overall pleasant stay, the staffs are nice, the rooms and bathroom are clean. The location is great too! (except the noise at night) If you don't mind a bit of noise, this is a great place to stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights. They have a very friendly and accommodating staff. Sometimes, they even share free snacks to the guests. The dining area and kitchen is clean. The rooms are decent, just use the earplugs provided if you want complete silence when sleeping (some guests would arrive at dawn or some would snore). The free breakfast is decent (eggs, bread, ham, spreads). Better to wake-up early if you don't want to wait for your turn to cook. Wifi is free and fast.

Its a basic backpackers hostel with bunk beds, we booked for 2 pax and we were in a double bunk bed shared room. Bathroom toilet sharing (In queue though during the morning and late evening since most of the guests travel early morning. It's very homey because you get to cook your own ham and egg sandwich for breakfast. The staff are very friendly and the good thing about it is you get to mingle and share travel stories with your co-traveler's. They allow you to leave your things for early or late check in/out and it's totally safe.

I read reviews about people getting irritated by the karaoke bar few floors down. But since I wanted to try out a new place for my second visit, I took a leap of faith and booked here. Plus Ximending looked fun. So the moment the staff gave me earplugs it served as confirmation and early on the evening in my bunk I really heard some singing but not blaring enough. Then it started subsiding until there was silence. It happened the next two nights of my stay here. Probably I got lucky. Be mindful though that Ximending is hardly a serene place. As for the pros: there's breakfast, you just have to cook it for yourself; open 24/7 coffee/bar; the cute cool interiors; helpful staff; very good location, very near MRT Exit 6; street food in the morning if you want to be adventurous; shopping! Though I prefer going to Shilin night market. My gripes: One time it was hot inside the dorm. I had to ask they lower the A/C thermostat. The other gripe is the wifi/internet. Sooooooooooooo slow!!! Go rent a pocketwifi from iVideo to save you from stress!

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. The common area is spacious, there's free breakfast and coffee/tea every morning, and there's also a nice open balcony. Location is also incredible - smack in the middle of the Ximending district!I recommend getting some street food and a beer from the nearby 7-11, then sit in peace at the balcony and enjoy the Taipei air!

Our experienced in wow Hostel is amazing! They exceeded our expectations. If you're in a budget this is the best place to be! The facilities are cleaned, easy to locate and the area is located to the most popular night market in Taiwan in Ximen, so you don't need to go far to eat and buy stuffs cuz you can find it their. Subways and bus stations are also accessible. You will be sharing with other guests in each room. there is one bathroom in each roombut they have more bathrooms and comfort rooms outside the room. What I like more is that they have lots of hair blowers available for you to use. Breakfast is also included, where you can cook it on your own. They also have fridges for you to put your foods on it (just label it with your name). Staffs are also acommodating, they speak English well. Experience it for yourself.

It was my first time to visit Taiwan last week and I just came back to Philippines. Location is very great, A short walk off the Ximen station exit 6. Many things to explore around the hostel. The Hostel staff are friendly and will try their best to help (Special mention to 陳靖). They have unlimited coffee and milk tea and hot cold and lukewarm water available 24/7. The hostel is well maintained and has a very homey feel to it. The C.R. and bathroom is perfect for my simple needs. Free breakfast every morning is a very good addition to my experience. All over, I was WOWED by this Hostel. Highly recommended

I love my 3 days stay in this hostel. My bed sheets and linens were clean! It's always an important factor for me to have clean bed sheets as I've experienced hostel with somewhat re-used and smelly linens. The room was also clean. not smelly etc. I saw the lady who cleans the beds every day and she's really good doing it. I like that they offer free breakfast. It's really near the train and right in the middle of the shopping area of Ximending. Just below is the famous hotstar chicken where people queue up to get one. The only thing I suggest is to start installing bidet in the toilet. The shower room and the toilet are separated. No bidet in the toilet, not even a water dipper.Also, i woke up 8am even if i want to sleep because there was someone drilling in the wall. It was really noisy.

Location: I stayed there for a week during new year's. this hostel has a wonderful location to for food, shopping and also mobility. The ximending metro station just 2 min walk from / to the hostel. Room: the corridor is just nice and the bed with individual locker to keep our valuable thing safe. There is a curtain with the bed that gave me privacy and it's clean and comfortable. The mattress is hard but I am okay with it. The noise from the lower floor karaoke room don't really bother me because I usually go to bed after 12 midnight and the music usually stop at 12 midnight. Bathroom: it's a bit small, but the friendly staff always keep it clean and smell good! They provide sanitizer spray for the toilet seat as well! The hot rain shower is what you want when you have a full and tired walking day! Hairdryer it's also available. Breakfast: the hostel provide eggs, ham, toast and peanut butter, coffee and tea as well. You will need to cook your own breakfast. I don't really get a chance to do it because there is only one stove which share with numbers of people. I usually had my local breakfast outside. Common area: self-service coffee and tea is available. Laundry service is available at the balcony area. And the view from the balcony is just stunning! Staff: Friendly receptionist, friendly housekeeping ah yi (it mean:madam)Just my personal experience: My two lady roommate annoyed me a lot. Because they always blocking the corridor with their luggage. And they created lots of noise when they did the packing and unpacking the luggage every early morning and evening (yes, they knew everyone is still in bed).

The location is very good. Starbucks, 7-11, cosmed are opp the hostel, 2 watsons around the corner, lotsa of food and not forgetting the midnight shopping. Just the singing.. The hostel is on level 8, level 4-7 are those singing clubs and they are loud. When I booked the room, I was aware that there will be singing until 12am. Just that I didnt know it's that bad. Usually, the noise will be cut off when you pull the curtains, but in this case, it amplified the singing. so most of the night, I stayed at the common area, at the balcony or just leave the curtains opened. On the bright side, the hostel provides ear plugs. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. As long as you can ensure the noise, this is the perfect place.

We only spend a night in the hostel but I really loved the vibe of the place. It's in an accessible location in Ximending, where everything you might want and need is just a walk away. I was warned though that it's located above a disco place and that it gets a little bit uncomfortable in terms of noise by nightfall. They provide free earplugs to combat the noise. I was fortunate to not experience this since I checked-in during the wee hours of the morning. Though it's located just above a disco/nightclub, I did not notice nor experience anything questionable. Everything's pretty decent.The hostel is one of the hostels I've asked for late check-in because I arrived at Taipei around 1:30AM. They don't charge for late check-ins and have a 24-hour reception.Some spaces might get a little tight, like the corridors in the rooms especially if you have roomies with big luggages. The hostel is well-kept - the shared bathroom is clean, and the linens are spotless.They provide free breakfast, which you can eat at the their terrace overlooking the city.The staffs are very helpful and ready to assist when needed.

First time trying capsule hostel. I'm surprised at the lack of space but the location is good, staffs are friendly & helpful. Noise tolerance is needed! Make good use of the ear plug that the staff provided when you check in, especially for light sleepers. The place is clean, but it isn't too spacious for me, I'm just not used to a shared bathroom & the lack of privacy as a first timer. Just be mentally prepared if you are experiencing it for the very first time like me! Haha!

The hotel has very good location, comfort and clean bed room. Each guest gets a private cabin with curtain around for privacy. There was also a locker using digital key card, really safe. I didnt like the fact where they state that every hour that you are late for check out, you will be charge 100 NTD :))

I love how friendly the staff is, the free simple breakfast, the bed that is sooo big for one person (bigger than a single bed) and the curtains that gives you privacy when you sleep. And most of all, the location. It is located in the heart of Ximending. 4 min from ximen station, and 7 min walk to the bus stations. In the room that I stayed in to, there is an ensuite bathroom, so you don't need to go out to take a bath and use the toilet. There is also free shampoo and bath gel. You can ride an airport FREEGO bus and tell them to drop you off Rainbow Hotel in Ximen (they will drop you off at the big intersection, and you just have to walk for about 4-5 minutes, and you are already in the hostel (this is better since you don't have to transfer buses/subways). There is an etude house beside the elevator. (so just look for this, and you will be able to find it) About the noise, I never had an issue with it. I didn't even use the earplugs that the provided.I really had a great stay here in wow. :) Will definitely stay here again! :)

Comfortable stay and spacious bed. Love the balcony!Great location and easily accessible, the lift to the hostel is located beside Etude House. I'm bad with directions but the hostel is easy to locate.Helpful and nice team, who speak good English. Noise from the nightclubs is actually very bearable, never need to use the earplugs provided. What's unbearable though, is the constant slamming of dorms' doors by others. Can never sleep past 8:30 due to the noise. Will definitely return, for my upcoming solo trips to Taipei.

I had three nights here, the location is very convenient, just 3 mins. walk from Ximen MRT exit 6. The ante area is comfortable, and they have a little balcony overseeing the main street which we can listen to street music and have nice Taiwan beers.The staff are super friendly. the rooms is clean and the bed is comfortable, and we have lockers there and curtain between the beds so we have good security.Overall, it's really nice for solo travellers like me, I had good memories over my stay here and I am pretty sure I will come back again.

Took Freego bus from airport to Ximending, just mention Rainbow hotel driver will drop u at main street and 3 mins walk to hostel. Stayed 4 nights for about S$20/night for bunk bed, room size is fairly ok. Simple breakfast consist of free flow of water, coffee, tea, egg, ham and bread area provided. Overall good experience despite of the karaoke noise below which usually ends at 1am nightly.

Is located at XiMenDing street which means is located very near to XiMenDing station. Overall is good. There is female dorms and mixed. Quite noisy but they do provide earplugs. Kind and friendly staffs. They do allowed backpackers to keep their begs there even before check in time. There is simple breakfast provided. You are required to prepare yourself as there is ingredients like eggs, breads and ham provided. Tea/Coffee is provided too.

Very very clean hostel and very organised. The place is also very near the metro which we were given very clear instructions to go to. We stayed for 5 days and like the description said, it was noisy because of the Karaoke bar downstairs but it would stop at 12 midnight so it was no problem, I never used the earplugs that they provided. The place looks just as the pictures are posted online. The beds were clean, the bathrooms and kitchen area, everything was very organised. I was very much impressed with their service and hospitality.

Es war ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt in Taipei. Der Staff war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit zudem fühlt man sich fast wie in einem Hotel. Trotz den grossen Zimmern fühlte man sich mit den Vorhängen wie in den eigenen vier Wänden. Es war alles sehr sauber was ich sehr schätzte. Alles in allem kann ich das Hostel wärmstens weiter empfehlen.

Außerdem haben mir die sanitären Anlagen nicht gefallen, da sie schmutzig waren. Alles voller Urin und Haare. Der Preis ist dafür nicht gerechtfertigt, auch wenn die Lage super zentral ist.

It’s broadly a good hostel - well run, clean, staff are good, Wi-Fi works, well air-conned, people are nice.Two big problems though:(1) No ones fault really, but it’s a claustrophobic space from the common area through the dorms. There must be 60-70 guests capacity and it’s just not a large enough space for that sort of throughput. There’s technically enough facilities and they’re kept clean, but wow it’s not a relaxing space to spend time. For context - I live in HK - small spaces usually don’t bother me.(2) why do they play such loud music all day? It’s actually uncomfortable to sit in the common areas, and the walls are thin enough that it’s loud in the dorms too. Music is fine, loud music a bit is fine, but banging tunes for hours on end at 4pm? I don’t get it.It’s a shame though, they’re clearly nice people working hard there and the place is well run otherwise. Please just turn down the music? Quick and easy win.

圖文極為不符！！！在booking.com上預訂了雙人床位，圖片展示雙人床位有簾子可拉，非常溫馨漂亮的樣子。實際到現場，因行程關係超過辦理入住時間，櫃檯人員貼心將房卡裝入信封，入住時只要在櫃檯拿取寫有名字的信封房卡入住，隔日再辦理入住手續。進入房間後，赫然發現自己與友人被安排在17人的大宿舍下鋪分隔床位，位置極其陰暗，。其中一個床位甚至在樓梯下方，除了有一個小小入口可進入以外，其他面都是牆壁，壓迫感非常重，空氣更無法對流，當下實在難以置信，因此當日選擇另尋住處。總而言之，若被安排在人數較少且較為明亮的房間而言，非常實惠且交通非常方便；但今日被安排在六面皆為牆壁，僅有小小入口的空間內入睡，實在難以接受！

My favourite hostel in Taiwan by a distance. We stayed in Cavemen Hostel and Meander previously and neither could match the Vibe of WOW. The main host there called Byron was welcoming, hilarious and incredibly attractive. Without Wow Taipei our stay in Taiwan would have been just that little bit worse. It always makes such a difference when the hostel host stays and chat / drinks with the guests, so a really big thanks to the wonderful Byron and all he's trying to with WOW. Free coffee, water and WiFi. There's a really nice balcony overlooking Taipei and a large social area. Showers are really good with lots of hot water and free shampoo / shower gel. Although the forms are large, the beds are comfy with large curtains so you can get a full blackout. Loved it and would recommend to anyone as the number hostel in Taiwan.

Stayed there for 4D3N (27 April - 30 April 2023)This hostel is situated in the busy area, for me personally it is quite convenient to go around, to go to MRT station it is just <5 minutes walk.7 Eleven and Starbucks are just downstairsIt is located at 8th floor and suprisingly in the same building there is a karoeke business operating until late night. For those who are light sleeper i bet you guys going to have trouble to sleep. But i am a heavy sleeper tho, so i have no problem on thatThe common area is cool and cozy, we got the chance to meet some strangers to have a nice encounter and chat. Got fridge, utensils, hot and cold water, coffee machine providedOutside at the balconyy - there are washing machine and dryer provided (need to pay < NTD 100, i think so)Towels are not provided, but you can pay if you want to use hereMy dormitory is female only, sharing with a friend so we have a queen sized bed, im okay with it, no shoes allowed inside, toilet-slippers provided, and it is quite convenient to have locker to keep your valueable stuff inside! If you have inconsiderate dorm-mates, you might get disturbed whenever they slam the door (i would suggest a door stopper for the management to look into this matter). The aircond cant really reach into your bed, for some people (my friend) cant sleep because of that, so we just sleep with our curtain opened overnight and didnt mind at all how they see us sleep at night (haha).The hygiene of the toilets outside was quite dissapointing probably coming from irresponsible travelers and uncivilised behaviour that cant clean themselves after usageMy verdict for this place would be:- As a traveller, this place is something that i would choose again in the future personally, not for a very comfortable stay, but for its convenience and suit its rate per night- If you are choosing this place for a rest (+ you are a heavy sleeper) its good for you i guess- Staff are quite helpful and polite (the lady!)

Recap stay:- community area are wayyyyy to close to the sleeping areas and you can hear the other tenants laughing at like 2am.- there is no staff supervision to enforce quiet after 11pm.- bed was fine, good AC.- all the doors SLAM. No idea why hostel doesn't install door stoppers... You will get zero sleep if people are inconsiderate which is often. I would avoid this for this reason alone.- wifi was okay.- balcony was great- staff is great when they were there- area is greatCome stay if you are a heavy sleeper. Otherwise, stay away.

淋浴間非常狹小、沒什麼地方能放東西，只有一個掛鉤可以掛衣服，廁所總是充滿強烈的尿騷味，淋浴間也是常有異味，公共空間也總是充滿異味令人卻步。房間個人空間雖然還行，但可能價位偏低住客水準參差不齊，目前待了兩晚、兩天床舖都被放垃圾，即使床簾全部拉上，回來時一樣有垃圾，雖說青年旅館本來就是隱私有限的地方，但被放垃圾真的令人非常不舒服。

Very bad. The beds are tiny and uncomfortable, and the rooms are completely claustrophobic. The hostel plays music at night and the lights in the bedrooms don't turn off. The absolute worst thing is the VERY LOUD KARAOKE downstairs that goes until very late. It's impossible to sleep here, I would never stay here again.

1、最火大的，沒熱水，冬天。要別人怎麼洗澡？而且浴室只有一個花灑，就算只想洗頭也噴的全身都很冷。2、因為一間房很多人，我只能說有預算沒預算最好都花多一點錢住獨立的套房，同房的東西都亂擺在地上，還亂掛衣服= =會在意的人千萬不要來住，都已經有給置物櫃跟床了，還把自己的東西擺的地上都是。因為衛浴是共用的，還會有人忘記東忘記西，不對自己的物品負責人，打擾別人使用公共空間的權利。3、服務態度沒有不好，但如果無法做到跟顧客約法三章，保障所有顧客的權利，那就不是一間合格的商業旅店。4、房間內有間小廁所並沒有提到是否可以在裡面洗澡，如果有人在裡面洗澡噴的到處都是誰要負責？5、店員在告知顧客只說過有問題都可以問，那請問你們沒穿制服我哪看得出來誰是店員？而且在check in 的時候也並未有任何的叮囑，那難怪住客品質行為這麼糟。6、還沒躺床就有毛7、有人翻倒液體

I stayed for one night in the girls dormitory and i am so dissapointed,the shower room is only 4,shared by boys and girls,the aircon inside the room is very weak,so i feel uncomfortable,the bed is extremely hard,the sensor of locker in the bed have an alarm sound so it made a noise and disturbing other guest,there's a music lounge downstairs of the hostel and i can't take a good sleep because of the noise,they don't have free body towel to use,they only have face towel and you can purchase it in the receptionist and pay for 30nt dollars,the only good thing is they have free breakfast,and the location is absolutely good because it's in the center of ximen.

They play music fairly loudly in the lobby. I'm working remotely and sometimes need to take work calls or have meetings, so a quieter space would be appreciated. But I wouldn't mind it otherwise.The dormitory is a tad small for the amount of beds in it. It can get crammed.As for the mattresses, you can feel some springs, so it can be a bit uncomfortable.Aside from that, the location is convenient, the staff seems nice, very LGBT friendly, the decoration is welcoming, there's hot and cold drinking water provided and a laundry machine for 50$. The wifi is okay too.

住宿地點交通便利，距離西門町六號出口不到五分鐘的距離。附近有星巴克跟便利商店。住宿位在舊大樓內，樓下其他樓層有歌廳、餐廳，不要被樓下擺設嚇到了。出電梯後，晚上大門需要門卡才能打開。許多旅人會在交誼空間聊天，戶外陽台也有吸菸區，並有投幣式的洗衣機跟烘衣機，不過陽台無法晾衣服。進出房門都是使用門卡感應，並有電子鎖櫃，床頭旁也有小空間可以置物，很貼心。此次入住14人房，空間規劃得宜，並不會感到很擁擠的感覺。每張床都有簾子，不過無法完全遮蔽，有縫隙。房內冷氣為中央空調，入住兩晚，第一晚很冷，第二晚就還好。早上提供簡單吐司。床位數很多，不過廁所僅有四間，浴室也五六間而已，尖峰時期需要等待。

在某網站看到介紹西門窩是年青人必去的旅舍，而且價錢相宜，所以就訂了。乘捷運到西門站，走出口6（不要相信是出口1...太遠而且沒有升降機）就到了西門町。我晚上去的時候，找不到門口，方才發現西門窩的大樓，下面的樓層是歌廳⋯⋯這也就解釋了為甚麼西門窩檯台會提供免費耳塞給大家（笑）。我訂的是男女混合的床位。房間感覺不錯，走到走廊盡頭就是廁所和洗澡室，明亮乾淨。Common Area有廚房，早上也有免費早餐提供（前提是你必須很早起床）。露台有乾洗機和洗衣機，方便旅客。

2年後重住這家飯店是因為不會太多時間待在酒店，只想有一個地方放行李、洗澡以及能睡幾個小時後去辦公務。我在凌晨辦理入住，但服務人員也很有禮貌而且也跟我聊了幾句，這是人情味而不是冷語幾句就算。如廁的地方確實比較窄，如果身型比較胖的人真的不知如何去解決生理問題了，哈哈。房間也比較好，只可是會常常聽到開關門聲之外，身邊的人用電話聊天真的不想聽到她在說什麼，畢竟夜深真的很想睡睡覺。

โฮสเทลตั้งอยู่ย่านซีเหมิน เดินไมไกลจากสถานีรถไฟใต้ดิน Ximen ซึ่งนับว่าสะดวกมากๆ ครับ แนะนำเลย ห้องน้ำก็สะอาดแต่ไม่ได้แยะชายหญิง มีอาหารเช้าไว้บริการ ส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นขนมปัง ไข่ ซึ่งเราต้องบริการตัวเอง ทางโฮสเทลอนุญาตให้นำอาหารขึ้นมากินและทำอาหารเองได้ด้วย ข้อเสียอย่างนึง คือ ตอนกลางคืนจะได้ยินเสียงคาราโอเกะจากชั้นอื่น แต่ทางโฮสเทลก็แจก earplug มาให้ แต่สำหรับผมไม่ค่อยมีปัญหาครับเพราะกลับมาก็ดึกและเหนื่อยมากๆ เลยหลับสบายหน่อย

Dit hostel ziet er hip en stijlvol uit! Het ligt midden in de bruisende en populaire wijk Ximending. Van de buitenkant is het even zoeken waar de ingang is. De kamer was netjes, schoon en verzorgd, maar wel gehorig! Bij aankomst krijg je gratis oordopjes om te geluid van de karaokebar een beetje tegen te gaan. Gelukkig stopt de karaoke meestal rond twaalf uur. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding is zeer goed en de locatie is een topper!

일단 이 건물에서 언제까지 이루어지는지 모를 공사소음이 아침 8시부터 난리입니다. 건물벽뚫는소리에 자동 기상이고요 낮까지 호스텔 전체에 울려서 견딜수가 없습니다. 스텝은 친절하지만 숙박객과 친목하느라 그런진 몰라도 12시 넘어서까지 시끌벅적 떠드는 사람과 새벽 드라이기 이용자에 대한 제재가 하나도 없습니다. 자고싶은사람은 환장파티... 이 호스텔의 단점으로 꼽히는 가라오케 소음은 한번도 거슬린적이 없어요. 다른소음이 가라오케를 가볍게 뛰어넘거든요^^ 아침은 제공해주는 달걀과 식빵으로 알아서 조리해먹으면 되는데 후라이팬 코팅 다 벗겨져서 눌어붙어가지고 다음사람 주기도 민망하고... 드라이기는 몇 초 쓰다보면 과열되어서 꺼지고요.. 열악하다는 표현이 딱입니다. 제발 더 좋은데 가세요

下の階に飲み屋があって、そこのカラオケが明け方までひっきりなしに大音量で聞こえる。全然寝れなかった。部屋はベニア板で仕切られた簡易的なカプセルタイプで、中はまぁまぁ広い。階段下スペースがセキュリティボッックスみたいな感じの簡易的な収納があり、とりあえずカードキーで開閉するのである程度のセキュリティは有ると思う。でもこのセキュリテイボックスを開閉する度にウィンウィン結構でかい音がするので、これで目覚める時が何度かあった。連泊したが、その最中はシーツのか交換、清掃等は無い。寝ていると、小さい虫が動いてるのを発見。テントウムシを平べったくしたような小さな虫。なんだかわからなかったけど、とりあえず潰した。ちょっと怖かった。まぁ立地条件は最高だし価格も安いのでそれ相応かもしれないけど、俺はもう二度と泊まらない。

7：30からが朝食時間だということで、その時間に食堂（共有テーブル）に行ったが、それらしき準備がされていなかった。冷蔵庫を開けるとパン・チーズ・ハム・たまご等がしまって有ったので、これを出して食べようと試みたところﾃｰﾌﾞﾙに座っていた女性が食事の準備を始めた。←どうやらこの方が、宿関係者のようでした。 この点だけがややマイナス点ですが、他は大変快適でした。※下の階のカラオケは確かに聞こえましたが、私はそんなに音が気にならないほうなので問題とは思いませんでした。

女性用ドミトリーを2泊利用。チェックイン時に耳栓を渡されると口コミで見ていたが、本当にカラオケの音が一日中鳴り響いていて、共有スペースに行くと聞こえないのに、客室では朝から晩までずっとうるさかった。朝食は付いているが、キッチンの調理スペースが極端に小さくてコンロも一つだけなので順番待ちになる。1フロアのみのホステルで、シャワーとトイレも男女共有、あまり掃除が行き届いておらず不潔で使うのに気が引けた。清潔感、音が気にならない人は全然ありだと思うが、女性にはオススメしない。あと入り口が完全に風俗の入り口なので入りづらかった。

寝るのにはあまり適していません。また、コンファームメールなどもなく、サービスは悪いです。共通スペースなどの雰囲気は良いですし、入り口すぐなのでコミュニケーションは取りやすいですが。カラオケの女性の顔がたくさん貼られている、本当にここ？というところにエレベーターがあり、夜中じゅう歌声が鳴り響いています。ちょっと柄の悪いおじさんもいますし、治安はいいとは思いますが、とにかく人が多すぎますし、賑やかすぎて私はあまり好きになれませんでした。駅から近く、賑やかなのが好きで、夜もとにかく遊びたい人にはいいかと思います。

街のど真ん中にあるホステルで観光に便利でした！ロッカーもカードキーで使いやすく、ベット脇にプラグや小物おきがあり便利でした！ただ、シャーワーが狭いのや騒音があり敏感な方にはおすすめしません。私は敏感ではないのですが、部屋のドアが重く閉まる時の振動で起こされることがよくありました。チェックインの時に耳栓もらえるので騒音は大丈夫ですが、ドアの音と振動はわかります。

私は一人旅でシーメンワオホステルに３泊４日で滞在しました。女性ドミトリールームに泊まりました。私は英語は話せますが中国語はわからないので、ホテルに英語対応のスタッフがいて、ホテルの説明や台湾旅行についてフレンドリー話してもらえて助かりました！また、チェックイン時のホテルの説明書きには日本語があったので、英語・中国語がわからない人でも大丈夫でしょう。西門駅から歩いてすぐで観光しやすく、夜も繁華街で人通りも多かったです。ホステルのラウンジもオシャレなカフェみたいで居心地が良くて、色々な国の観光客が集まっててグローバルな雰囲気でした。ルームのドアと貴重品ロッカーはカード式で、セキュリティ面も安心できると思います。楽しい台湾の旅になりました♪

西門町駅から、大変近いです。パブリックスペースとベランダは、共にコンパクトですが、快適です。女子ドミトリーに1泊しました。寝るだけならば、問題ありません。新しく清潔な印象でした。ベットの横にあるロッカーは、機内持ち込みサイズ大のサイズです。ベットサイドのコンセントは、一つなので、二股コンセントを持って行くと良いでしょう。私は、ベットの外の部屋の壁のコンセントでケータイの充電をしました。また、パブックスペースのテーブルで充電している人もいました。トイレ、シャワー、洗面所は、男女共有です。ほぼ、満員でしたが、満員で利用できないことは、ありませんでした。コーヒーやお茶は、無料でいつでも飲めます。ペットボトルの水や瓶ビールをホステル内で買うことができます。水500ml10元でした。朝食は、パン、ハム、卵。卵は自分で調理します。私は、外食したので、食べませんでした。ホステルは、建物の８階で、建物の入口は、初めての時は、わかりにくいです。９階の「小王子❤ホテル」の看板が光っているので目印にするといいです。又、道路の向かいに、１階セブン、2階スタバの建物があります。階下がカラオケ屋さんで、チェックインの時に、耳栓をくれますが、夜１２時過ぎれば、通り自体静かです。（１２時に帰ってきました。）台北には、他にもよいホステルがたくさんあると思いますが、ここは、安いのにちゃんとしてると思います。日本にもあるユースホステル協会のホステルでした。また、利用してもいいと思えるホステルですが、ベランダにある洗濯機と乾燥機の使い方が、（英語、中国語が解らないと）難しそうだったので、夏はどうかな？と思います。立地上？スペース上？洗濯は干せません。Wifi快適です。

２回目のひとり海外旅行。初めての台湾。初めてのドミトリー部屋。台北に着いたその日にネットで検索して、ダブルのお部屋が空いていたので予約しました。とってもとっても快適でした！最寄りの駅は 西門（Ximen）駅。台北車站（Taipei main station）からMRTでたった一駅。立地条件バッチリ。ただ入り口が見つけにくい。目印はユニクロ、セブンとスタバ、そしてエレベーターに続く入り口には、たくさんのキャバ嬢の写真！（笑）ビルの最上階にWOWの看板見えます。夜のカラオケの音がうるさいというレビューもありますが、台北の都会の喧騒という感じ。それはそれで私には心地よかったです。それも23時くらいには静かになります。※そもそも本当の静寂を求める方にはドミトリーはオススメしません。スタッフさんは親切で優しいし、昼間いる掃除担当のおばちゃんは日本語しゃべれます。お部屋きれい。ビーサン貸出あり。水とコーヒー・紅茶は無料サービス。朝食用に、卵と食パンも。タバコを吸う方は、素敵なバルコニーで吸えます。居心地が良すぎて、出かけたくなかった。台湾で、ここが1番お気に入りの場所かもです。皆さんよい旅を。ちなみに写真のお部屋はダブルです。

Setelah membaca ulasan bagus dari beberapa situs berkenaan hostel ini, saya pun akhirnya membuat keputusan untuk menempah penginapan selama 3 malam kami di Taipei. Namun, apa yang saya alami tidak sesuai dengan apa yang diulas para teman-teman traveller lainnya. Saya dan teman saya mendapatkan sebuah tempat tidur kongsi di bagian atas. Hal pertama yang saya perhatikan adalah betapa kotornya saluran pipa air yang menempel di samping atas ruang tidur kami. Saluran pipa itu penuh dengan debu yang tebal sehingga membuat kami merasa jijik dan jorok. Lokasi tempat tidur kami yang terletak bersebelahan kamar mandi juga menjadi isu buat kami karena beberapa kali kami hampir terpeleset jatuh saat naik turun dari tempat tidur akibat dari lantai yang basah gara-gara air dari kamar mandi yang terciprat keluar. Harusnya pihak hostel menyediakan karpet atau lap di depan kamar mandi agar air yang terciprat tidak mengalir ke mana-mana.Ruang kamar mandinya juga sangat kecil dan sempit, jadi jika hendak mandi harus berhati-hati karena ruang sempit bisa membuat pakaian ganti gampang basah terciprat air. Untuk pengetahuan anda, hostel ini terletak di lantai 8, sementara di lantai 4 dan 6 adalah bar karaoke di mana suara bising akan selalu menemani anda setiap malam. Buat yang gampang terbangun saat tidur, hostel ini pastinya bukan pilihan tepat. Selain itu, anda juga dipastikan akan dengan mudahnya bertembung dengan orang mabuk dan bekas muntahan yang sudah pastinya sangat menjijikkan saat hendak menuju ke hostel ini pada waktu malam. Tambahan pula, ruang bawah tempat menunggu lift juga mempunyai bau busuk yang memualkan. Pengalaman pertama saya di hostel ini cukup sekali dan terakhir saja.

Luggage is stored in the common area, by the walkway.Noise insulation not the best, could hear karaoke singing downstairs and video played in the common area (There was an event in the common area which ended at 9pm). Free earplugs are provided at the check-in counter.Room doors are not light, some residents did not close the door lightly despite reminders posted on the door and the check-in staff reminding on the first day. Could hear some slams in the middle of the night.Much privacy within each bed, with blackout curtains. Might not be able to see steps if both blackout curtains are drawn close.Lockers large enough to put a cabin size baggage with excess space.Same free breakfast (Bread + toaster, ham, eggs, jams) daily. Pans, cutlery, and cups provided.24 hour security in form of door lock at main door when check-in staff are not around (11pm - 7am). Very affordable hostel! It was well maintained and cleaned regularly. I love how they host story nights where guests would gather at the common area and just converse. During my stay, Taiwanese were not as friendly and accommodating to us Filipinos compared to other nationalities like Japanese, Koreans, and Americans. It was not bad though, and this is just nitpicking. I just noticed it and it isn't a requirement. The place is strategically place in the middle of Ximending Youth DIstrict where the action is. You can leave your baggage in the hostel but there isn't really a closed space for them, they will be left near the common area without doors or separations, we left them there and there's nothing stolen or broken. I really liked this place!

Decent hostel, beds are good, security is good, beds are private and bathrooms are maintained. Staff are not very friendly and didn't find that there was an amazing vibe in the hostel (but not a bad one). One night it was Baltic in the room but they turned the AC down the next night.After I checked out they kept my backpack for a few hours and let me use the facilities which was great.The location is excellent, in the middle of a fun area, close to the MRT and generally in the centre of the city. If you're looking for it, look for a vertical sign which is in amongst other signs! (The hostel is in a building with other businesses in the building inc a darkly lit function room and a dodgy looking hotel, but I didn't feel unsafe there, it was just amusing!)
A very convenient and strategic place to crash

Location, location, location. The best thing about Ximen WOW Hostel is the location. It is right smack in the middle of the Ximending area, and a short couple of minutes walk from the Ximending MRT Station. I just needed a place to crash, sleep, and store my stuff while I was out almost the entire day traveling and stuff, and this is a very nice place to stay.It is a mixed-gender dorm type of accommodations, with as much as 16 beds to a room bunking up together. You get your own small locker (enough to fit a large backpack or a small luggage) to go along with your bunk bed, but it has enough space for you to move around (especially if you're a small, 5' 1" guy like me). The bathrooms and toilets are common, and a little cramped, but hey, it's Taiwan, they make use of every nook and cranny they can squeeze money and utility on.Breakfast is available - the usual cereals and toast and spreads - and eggs that you need to cook for yourself. The kitchen is cramped as well - it doesn't give much room for more than one person at a time to use, two if they're really chummy with each other - but again, not too much trouble for the prices that they charge you. There is coffee and hot chocolate and tea available as well. The common area is very spacious though, with a nice balcony as well. The thing is that it is tricky to find within Ximending because the hostel occupies an entire floor of a very busy building in a very busy part of the area. The biggest landmark is Uniqlo. Once you're there, it's just a few meters away. You need to look up to see the sign.Again, this is one of those places which if you just need a place to crash, freshen up, and keep your things and you'll be out for like 16 to 18 hours of the day, this is an ideal place to be. And it's within Ximending, which is already an area in Taipei where there's lots and lots of things happening around within the vicinity, and very accessible to public transportation if you need to go further.

Located in the young cool area of the city; ximen. the wow hostel is perfectly positioned for you to explore this the most vibrant area of taipei..ROOMSThe rooms are set out with beds in a capsule style with full curtains for privacy, electrical outlet, light & electric locker that is super secure. I stayed in both one of the larger & smaller dorms. COMMON AREASA nice compact common area with small sofa & dining table but the best part of this area has to be the balcony it has lots of spaces and offers views of the ximen district & beyond. Bathrooms offer individual privacy with shower, sinks & mirror all in your own private shower room. SERVICES A simple but good breakfast is offered free for you every morning. eggs are also available for you to cook too if you want to rustle up some french toast. The staff are super friendly & super happy to help with all your questions. A computer is on standby if you don’t have your own & the wifi is super fast here. LOCATIONBased in ximen this is one of the busiest & I have to say coolest areas in the city. it’s where all the young people hangout & the hostel is located right in the middle of it. Just step outside the door and find yourself in the heart of this super vibrant area.

It’s my second time in Taiwan, the first being 8 years ago. It’s my first time attending gay pride and I had a tiring but amazing time. It’s such a wonderful memory for me.In order to make the trip memorable, my friend booked a hostel in the heart of the busy city. He made all the reservations and itineraries, all I had to do is be there.It’s my second time being in a hostel, and being in another one is as pleasant as the first.Location:Ximen Wow Hostel is just a few walking distance from Ximen Station. You need to take Exit 6. It’s very convenient and strategic as it’s in the middle of everything! It’s in the 8th floor of a not so new building. 7/11, street food, shopping, Red House, bars, food, you name it it’s within proximity.Unit Price:The price is considerably cheap and reasonable even if it’s considered at its peak because of the pride. You can check their website for pricing.Unit Space:I’ve already set my expectations low so I’m pretty happy with my space. It’s like a box, but enough for me to sleep and spread my arms and legs. I only use it to sleep anyways. In a room there is about 10 units (boxes) of different sizes.Bed:Quite comfortable. Like what I said about space, I already set my expectations low so I wasn’t disappointed with my bed. The sheet is white clean and odourless.Aircon:Just nice. The weather is cold and can be chilling at some point at night so aircon need not be very cold. You cannot adjust it though as it’s centralized.Water Pressure:The toilets and showers are in a common area. The pressure is good. When I discovered hot water I’m already relieved. :)Internet:Quite strong. I can video stream and use social apps with no problem. There are just a few weak spots like if you’re in the balcony (yes it has a balcony) or in the shower (of course).Room Service:Everything is self service so you better wash your own cup that you used for coffee or something. Clean as you go. However there was 1 cleaning auntie that’s kind enough to wash our plates. To show our gratitude, we gave her our receipts (it has some kind of lottery so though pretty slim, she has chances of winning some money).Hospitality:This is the game changer. Whenever I find the staffs friendly, accommodating, cheerful, vibrant, I instantly love the place. In our closeness with them we even get to hang out, drink, talk till wee hours, and be comfortable with one another. Location is great, located exactly in the middle of Ximending area, about 5 minutes walk to MRT Ximen. Balcony is cool, nice atmosphere and good for chilling.Everything looks smaller than what we expected. We barely able to open our middle-sized luggage in the room, and when we do it no one can walk in or out. This is our last place to stay after half-month traveling around Taiwan so we have a lot of luggage which made us real hard time to pack it the last night due to limited space. It is a bit noisy at night, the door is also making loud noise every time someone go in or out of the room (with the most effort to keep it quiet, it still sound like BANG!). Security locker is provided for each bed, some of them detached. Please noted that locker is not big enough for middle-sized luggage and is not really safe because I once accidentally able to open it even without a key card. Common area is cramped, the same for cooking area that could fit only one people at a time while everything (dishes and knives/forks/spoons, trash bin, electric stove and washing sink) is there. We lose 1 hour every morning just to queue up to use a dirty oven, cook and then clean. Not enough sitting space, some people have to go out and do sunbath while having breakfast at the balcony. Toilet is smelly, bathroom area is in an open space at the back of the floor where sometimes water flooded out.Staff was nice but not impressive, not really helpful. I have to leave very early before 4AM but staff insisted that he can only book/call us a cab to airport, or we have to walk all the way to main street to catch one by ourselves. It's more like they're just there doing their job, I don't feel anything more from them.

For those asking where to stay in Taipei and where to stay in Taiwan on a budget, I recommend booking in WOW hostel since it is only about 2mins away from the MRT. It is situated along the shopping stores where Ximending Night Market is most known for.The place is very cozy. They have a veranda where anyone can chill in the morning over a cup of coffee or drink beer at night. You can also cook your own food there as if you are just in your own house. The staffs are very accommodating and can converse in English.The long table at the living room serves as a meeting place where everyone gathers around either to eat, drink, socialize, meet other travelers.

This hostel is the best hostel in Taipei. Traveled with my 2 friends just last weekend. They both stayed in the single bunk beds while I stayed in the double bed alone. Here are the detailed reviews of WOW hostel: PROS*Centrally located at the heart of Ximending. The location is JUST PERFECT! Hostel is located at the 8th Floor of a building in front of Starbucks and 711. *Beds are clean and spacious, even the single beds are spacious. Beds also have own light, locker and curtain. Got a double bed for myself! *Breakfast was provided daily however it was just the basics - Eggs, ham, break, jam. Couldn't complain. *Ear plugs are provided upon arrival. Towels are for rent for NT30. Shower gel and shampoo are provided in the bathroom. *The staff are so nice and accommodating. Thanks to Jack for replying to our concerns promptly. He made sure our experience and check in is seamless and smooth. Chen also was accommodating, he helped us during check in process. *Bathroom and toilets are clean! The toilets have tissue paper and provided alcohol to clean toilets before and after usage. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the toilets. Kudos to WOW for that! Bathrooms have hair dryer as well which is a good thing. CONS*Rooms have no small trash can where we can throw some stuff. We had to go out of the room to throw tissues, cottons etc. *We had to cook our own breakfast, so if you wake up late, you'll end up waiting in line for others to finish their cooking. *Prepare for the slight noise from the lower floor. There's a bar on the 6th floor. Overall, I LOVE WOW HOSTEL. I will stay again when I go to Taipei. Highly recommended.

Stayed for 1 night only. We were planning to stay longer but changed our mind after the first night. The room situation and bed condition were not really conducive for sleeping. The shared room was cramped and the bed was hard and smelly. We stayed in other hostels that provided better mattress. In terms of location, the place is within the busy Ximending.

I am a returning guest. Stayed here for 8 nights last March 1-9,2017. It was winter (and was cold) but the hostel stayed warm and cozy all throughout my stay. All the member of the staff are very friendly. They always take the initiative to chat with a solo-traveler like me. Although the bad side here are some of the loud guests inside my room, they are a group of friends and they kept on talking and banging the door at around 2 in the morning. They are maybe thinking that they own the place. So I decided to talk to the front desk staff after holding my silence for 2 days w/o proper sleep. So they learned about my dilemma and tried to resolve it. They talked to some of the members of the group (they are 5 to 6 korean girls, the staff knows Korean) and they were able to hold their silence for a few hours and then viola! they are back to doing what they do best. The next day, I tried to talk to them, but what can I do? They do not understand me. Haha. And fyi, the earplugs that the hostel provided did not alleviate the noise at all! Aa for the noise from the Karaoke though, it was more than enough. So as a recommendation since I really love staying in your hostel, please use a Pneumatic or hydraulic door closer to your doors so that it will stay quiet even if rude guests are in the area.Btw, I stayed in Room F. I dont know if it is the same with other rooms. But this does not prevent me from coming back. I love the location, accessibility, the ever smiling staff, facilities, and the ambiance. I am actually Booked here on September! Excited to stay with you again!

This was exactly the sort of welcome we needed after arriving in Taipei after a long couple of days travelling. The staff are friendly, helpful and informative. The dorm rooms are comfortable, functional and safe. Bathroom and toilet facilities are cleaned regularly and there are enough for the number of guests.Each morning there is a free breakfast and there is free tea and coffee available around the clock. If you need cold bottles of water or snacks these can be bought from the reception at any time. This hostel is located about 5 minutes walk from the Ximen MRT station and it is very easy to find. Just had out of exit 6 and turn right towards KFC and Starbucks and you will see the hostel sign at the top of the building on the left.

The location of this hostel is on the 8th floor of a BLDG within the heart of Ximen Hanzhong St. It was 5:30 am when we checked- in, and will be checking out 11 am. My reservation was just to have time for a short rest and to keep us out of the street upon our arrival, before we transfer to another hotel. the personnel that attended to us was already expecting our arrival, maybe because we're the last guest to arrive. very courteous and knows how to speak in english. the breakfast was from 7:30 to 10 am (if I'm not mistaking, I was having a headache that time) he gave the key to the room. the room was full of bed, like capsule style (for single and double) but not the same with the Japanese capsule hotel. 3/4 plywood separates us from other guest and grey curtains was the cover of the bed space. free use of slippers and he gave us free ear plugs, the purpose was not to be disturbed by loud noise from the outside and of course from continuous snoring or farting of other guest that sleeps within the assigned room. fortunately other guest from that room was quiet and friendly. we were very tired so got to go to sleep. we woke up to have breakfast, breakfast was simple, toasted bread, choices of spreads, also ham slices, you can cook eggs sunny side up or scrambled eggs. it's up to you. coffee, tea, it's your choice. be careful of opening refrigerators that has signs FOR STAFF ONLY, there is a penalty! you will be paying certain amount of NTD.while having breakfast I observed the place and it was some what cute, woody, good lighting. there is a sofa set where you can read, talk, drink and meet other guest. and they have this balcony with automatic door, a view of the city's streets, a place for smokers.about the shared shower rooms and toilets, plenty but sometimes it gets crowded.over all it was just ok. a place for transient or overnight stay. but if your on a tight budget Ximen WoW hostel is good enough. no problem what so ever.BTW Ximen station is just 3mins walk, Taipei main station is 45 to an Hour walk if your a walker or just roaming the city by foot.

- Staff were very friendly- Outdoor balcony is a nice spot for a drink- Hostel is quite small, common area is right next to dorm rooms, not much space to sit and relax.- Pillows were average.- Very noisy, even with earplugs. There is a club with live music downstairs that you can hear from bed, but more annoying is the non-stop pop music played by the hostel in the hallways and common area. It is very loud, even up till 11pm at night and from about 8 or 9am in the morning. This makes it a really un-relaxing place to stay and hard to get to sleep. We were woken up by noise several mornings.- Lights in dorm rooms are kept on 24hrs a day, so people are noisy and leave the door open, thinking people aren't trying to sleep.- Washing machine provided- Bathrooms were ok, quite cramped and a bit worn out. Some of the drains were a bit blocked. Can be quite hot and humid when windows are left open.- Breakfast is bread, ham and an egg that you have to cook yourself. There is one stove with one pan and everybody waits to cook their egg. Not really a free breakfast.In a good central location in Ximen, close to MRT, and the staff were really nice here but it is just a really noisy place to stay, not a relaxing place to come back to and rest. I would not stay here again.

We stayed here just 1 night for our 2 days trip in Taiwan and its my first time to stay in a dorm type room. The experience was great. The staff are friendly, the amenities are outstanding and the location is great. We arrive very early and need to freshen up, thankfully the staff allowed us to use the bathroom and leave our bags. The entrance in the first floor is quite shocking but its okay. You can locate it right away and just near the Ximen station. You can just walk on some of the tourist attractions. I will definitely recommend it to our friends and will be staying here again when I travel back in Taiwan.
free ear plugs

I was very curious why there were free ear plugs upon check in, turns out there is a club (singers, mostly 60s, 70s? taiwan music) downstairs. There's also a fair amount of noise from the streets, but hey, this is Ximen!Overall pleasant stay, the staffs are nice, the rooms and bathroom are clean. The location is great too! (except the noise at night) If you don't mind a bit of noise, this is a great place to stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights. They have a very friendly and accommodating staff. Sometimes, they even share free snacks to the guests. The dining area and kitchen is clean. The rooms are decent, just use the earplugs provided if you want complete silence when sleeping (some guests would arrive at dawn or some would snore). The free breakfast is decent (eggs, bread, ham, spreads). Better to wake-up early if you don't want to wait for your turn to cook. Wifi is free and fast.

Its a basic backpackers hostel with bunk beds, we booked for 2 pax and we were in a double bunk bed shared room. Bathroom toilet sharing (In queue though during the morning and late evening since most of the guests travel early morning. It's very homey because you get to cook your own ham and egg sandwich for breakfast. The staff are very friendly and the good thing about it is you get to mingle and share travel stories with your co-traveler's. They allow you to leave your things for early or late check in/out and it's totally safe.

I read reviews about people getting irritated by the karaoke bar few floors down. But since I wanted to try out a new place for my second visit, I took a leap of faith and booked here. Plus Ximending looked fun. So the moment the staff gave me earplugs it served as confirmation and early on the evening in my bunk I really heard some singing but not blaring enough. Then it started subsiding until there was silence. It happened the next two nights of my stay here. Probably I got lucky. Be mindful though that Ximending is hardly a serene place. As for the pros: there's breakfast, you just have to cook it for yourself; open 24/7 coffee/bar; the cute cool interiors; helpful staff; very good location, very near MRT Exit 6; street food in the morning if you want to be adventurous; shopping! Though I prefer going to Shilin night market. My gripes: One time it was hot inside the dorm. I had to ask they lower the A/C thermostat. The other gripe is the wifi/internet. Sooooooooooooo slow!!! Go rent a pocketwifi from iVideo to save you from stress!

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. The common area is spacious, there's free breakfast and coffee/tea every morning, and there's also a nice open balcony. Location is also incredible - smack in the middle of the Ximending district!I recommend getting some street food and a beer from the nearby 7-11, then sit in peace at the balcony and enjoy the Taipei air!

Our experienced in wow Hostel is amazing! They exceeded our expectations. If you're in a budget this is the best place to be! The facilities are cleaned, easy to locate and the area is located to the most popular night market in Taiwan in Ximen, so you don't need to go far to eat and buy stuffs cuz you can find it their. Subways and bus stations are also accessible. You will be sharing with other guests in each room. there is one bathroom in each roombut they have more bathrooms and comfort rooms outside the room. What I like more is that they have lots of hair blowers available for you to use. Breakfast is also included, where you can cook it on your own. They also have fridges for you to put your foods on it (just label it with your name). Staffs are also acommodating, they speak English well. Experience it for yourself.

It was my first time to visit Taiwan last week and I just came back to Philippines. Location is very great, A short walk off the Ximen station exit 6. Many things to explore around the hostel. The Hostel staff are friendly and will try their best to help (Special mention to 陳靖). They have unlimited coffee and milk tea and hot cold and lukewarm water available 24/7. The hostel is well maintained and has a very homey feel to it. The C.R. and bathroom is perfect for my simple needs. Free breakfast every morning is a very good addition to my experience. I love my 3 days stay in this hostel. My bed sheets and linens were clean! It's always an important factor for me to have clean bed sheets as I've experienced hostel with somewhat re-used and smelly linens. The room was also clean. not smelly etc. I saw the lady who cleans the beds every day and she's really good doing it. I like that they offer free breakfast. It's really near the train and right in the middle of the shopping area of Ximending. Just below is the famous hotstar chicken where people queue up to get one. The only thing I suggest is to start installing bidet in the toilet. The shower room and the toilet are separated. No bidet in the toilet, not even a water dipper.Also, i woke up 8am even if i want to sleep because there was someone drilling in the wall. It was really noisy.

Location: I stayed there for a week during new year's. this hostel has a wonderful location to for food, shopping and also mobility. The ximending metro station just 2 min walk from / to the hostel. Room: the corridor is just nice and the bed with individual locker to keep our valuable thing safe. There is a curtain with the bed that gave me privacy and it's clean and comfortable. The mattress is hard but I am okay with it. The noise from the lower floor karaoke room don't really bother me because I usually go to bed after 12 midnight and the music usually stop at 12 midnight. Bathroom: it's a bit small, but the friendly staff always keep it clean and smell good! They provide sanitizer spray for the toilet seat as well! The hot rain shower is what you want when you have a full and tired walking day! Hairdryer it's also available. Breakfast: the hostel provide eggs, ham, toast and peanut butter, coffee and tea as well. You will need to cook your own breakfast. I don't really get a chance to do it because there is only one stove which share with numbers of people. I usually had my local breakfast outside. Common area: self-service coffee and tea is available. Laundry service is available at the balcony area. And the view from the balcony is just stunning! Staff: Friendly receptionist, friendly housekeeping ah yi (it mean:madam)Just my personal experience: My two lady roommate annoyed me a lot. Because they always blocking the corridor with their luggage. And they created lots of noise when they did the packing and unpacking the luggage every early morning and evening (yes, they knew everyone is still in bed).

The location is very good. Starbucks, 7-11, cosmed are opp the hostel, 2 watsons around the corner, lotsa of food and not forgetting the midnight shopping. Just the singing.. The hostel is on level 8, level 4-7 are those singing clubs and they are loud. When I booked the room, I was aware that there will be singing until 12am. Just that I didnt know it's that bad. Usually, the noise will be cut off when you pull the curtains, but in this case, it amplified the singing. so most of the night, I stayed at the common area, at the balcony or just leave the curtains opened. On the bright side, the hostel provides ear plugs. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. As long as you can ensure the noise, this is the perfect place.

We only spend a night in the hostel but I really loved the vibe of the place. It's in an accessible location in Ximending, where everything you might want and need is just a walk away. I was warned though that it's located above a disco place and that it gets a little bit uncomfortable in terms of noise by nightfall. They provide free earplugs to combat the noise. I was fortunate to not experience this since I checked-in during the wee hours of the morning. Though it's located just above a disco/nightclub, I did not notice nor experience anything questionable. Everything's pretty decent.The hostel is one of the hostels I've asked for late check-in because I arrived at Taipei around 1:30AM. They don't charge for late check-ins and have a 24-hour reception.Some spaces might get a little tight, like the corridors in the rooms especially if you have roomies with big luggages. The hostel is well-kept - the shared bathroom is clean, and the linens are spotless.They provide free breakfast, which you can eat at the their terrace overlooking the city.The staffs are very helpful and ready to assist when needed.

First time trying capsule hostel. I'm surprised at the lack of space but the location is good, staffs are friendly & helpful. Noise tolerance is needed! Make good use of the ear plug that the staff provided when you check in, especially for light sleepers. The place is clean, but it isn't too spacious for me, I'm just not used to a shared bathroom & the lack of privacy as a first timer. Just be mentally prepared if you are experiencing it for the very first time like me! Haha!

The hotel has very good location, comfort and clean bed room. Each guest gets a private cabin with curtain around for privacy. There was also a locker using digital key card, really safe. I didnt like the fact where they state that every hour that you are late for check out, you will be charge 100 NTD :))

I love how friendly the staff is, the free simple breakfast, the bed that is sooo big for one person (bigger than a single bed) and the curtains that gives you privacy when you sleep. And most of all, the location. It is located in the heart of Ximending. 4 min from ximen station, and 7 min walk to the bus stations. In the room that I stayed in to, there is an ensuite bathroom, so you don't need to go out to take a bath and use the toilet. There is also free shampoo and bath gel. You can ride an airport FREEGO bus and tell them to drop you off Rainbow Hotel in Ximen (they will drop you off at the big intersection, and you just have to walk for about 4-5 minutes, and you are already in the hostel (this is better since you don't have to transfer buses/subways). There is an etude house beside the elevator. (so just look for this, and you will be able to find it) About the noise, I never had an issue with it. I didn't even use the earplugs that the provided.I really had a great stay here in wow. :) Will definitely stay here again! :)

Comfortable stay and spacious bed. Love the balcony!Great location and easily accessible, the lift to the hostel is located beside Etude House. I'm bad with directions but the hostel is easy to locate.Helpful and nice team, who speak good English. Noise from the nightclubs is actually very bearable, never need to use the earplugs provided. What's unbearable though, is the constant slamming of dorms' doors by others. Can never sleep past 8:30 due to the noise. Will definitely return, for my upcoming solo trips to Taipei.

I had three nights here, the location is very convenient, just 3 mins. walk from Ximen MRT exit 6. The ante area is comfortable, and they have a little balcony overseeing the main street which we can listen to street music and have nice Taiwan beers.The staff are super friendly. the rooms is clean and the bed is comfortable, and we have lockers there and curtain between the beds so we have good security.Overall, it's really nice for solo travellers like me, I had good memories over my stay here and I am pretty sure I will come back again.

Took Freego bus from airport to Ximending, just mention Rainbow hotel driver will drop u at main street and 3 mins walk to hostel. Stayed 4 nights for about S$20/night for bunk bed, room size is fairly ok. Simple breakfast consist of free flow of water, coffee, tea, egg, ham and bread area provided. Overall good experience despite of the karaoke noise below which usually ends at 1am nightly.

Is located at XiMenDing street which means is located very near to XiMenDing station. Overall is good. There is female dorms and mixed. Quite noisy but they do provide earplugs. Kind and friendly staffs. They do allowed backpackers to keep their begs there even before check in time. There is simple breakfast provided. You are required to prepare yourself as there is ingredients like eggs, breads and ham provided. Tea/Coffee is provided too.

Very very clean hostel and very organised. The place is also very near the metro which we were given very clear instructions to go to. We stayed for 5 days and like the description said, it was noisy because of the Karaoke bar downstairs but it would stop at 12 midnight so it was no problem, I never used the earplugs that they provided. The place looks just as the pictures are posted online. The beds were clean, the bathrooms and kitchen area, everything was very organised. I was very much impressed with their service and hospitality.

Es war ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt in Taipei. Der Staff war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit zudem fühlt man sich fast wie in einem Hotel. Trotz den grossen Zimmern fühlte man sich mit den Vorhängen wie in den eigenen vier Wänden. Es war alles sehr sauber was ich sehr schätzte. Alles in allem kann ich das Hostel wärmstens weiter empfehlen.

Außerdem haben mir die sanitären Anlagen nicht gefallen, da sie schmutzig waren. Alles voller Urin und Haare. Der Preis ist dafür nicht gerechtfertigt, auch wenn die Lage super zentral ist.

It’s broadly a good hostel - well run, clean, staff are good, Wi-Fi works, well air-conned, people are nice.Two big problems though:(1) No ones fault really, but it’s a claustrophobic space from the common area through the dorms. There must be 60-70 guests capacity and it’s just not a large enough space for that sort of throughput. There’s technically enough facilities and they’re kept clean, but wow it’s not a relaxing space to spend time. For context - I live in HK - small spaces usually don’t bother me.(2) why do they play such loud music all day? It’s actually uncomfortable to sit in the common areas, and the walls are thin enough that it’s loud in the dorms too. Music is fine, loud music a bit is fine, but banging tunes for hours on end at 4pm? I don’t get it.It’s a shame though, they’re clearly nice people working hard there and the place is well run otherwise. Please just turn down the music? Quick and easy win.

圖文極為不符！！！在booking.com上預訂了雙人床位，圖片展示雙人床位有簾子可拉，非常溫馨漂亮的樣子。實際到現場，因行程關係超過辦理入住時間，櫃檯人員貼心將房卡裝入信封，入住時只要在櫃檯拿取寫有名字的信封房卡入住，隔日再辦理入住手續。進入房間後，赫然發現自己與友人被安排在17人的大宿舍下鋪分隔床位，位置極其陰暗，。其中一個床位甚至在樓梯下方，除了有一個小小入口可進入以外，其他面都是牆壁，壓迫感非常重，空氣更無法對流，當下實在難以置信，因此當日選擇另尋住處。總而言之，若被安排在人數較少且較為明亮的房間而言，非常實惠且交通非常方便；但今日被安排在六面皆為牆壁，僅有小小入口的空間內入睡，實在難以接受！

My favourite hostel in Taiwan by a distance. We stayed in Cavemen Hostel and Meander previously and neither could match the Vibe of WOW. The main host there called Byron was welcoming, hilarious and incredibly attractive. Without Wow Taipei our stay in Taiwan would have been just that little bit worse. It always makes such a difference when the hostel host stays and chat / drinks with the guests, so a really big thanks to the wonderful Byron and all he's trying to with WOW. Free coffee, water and WiFi. There's a really nice balcony overlooking Taipei and a large social area. Showers are really good with lots of hot water and free shampoo / shower gel. Although the forms are large, the beds are comfy with large curtains so you can get a full blackout. Loved it and would recommend to anyone as the number hostel in Taiwan.

For those who are light sleeper i bet you guys going to have trouble to sleep. But i am a heavy sleeper tho, so i have no problem on thatThe common area is cool and cozy, we got the chance to meet some strangers to have a nice encounter and chat. Got fridge, utensils, hot and cold water, coffee machine providedOutside at the balconyy - there are washing machine and dryer provided (need to pay < NTD 100, i think so)Towels are not provided, but you can pay if you want to use hereMy dormitory is female only, sharing with a friend so we have a queen sized bed, im okay with it, no shoes allowed inside, toilet-slippers provided, and it is quite convenient to have locker to keep your valueable stuff inside! If you have inconsiderate dorm-mates, you might get disturbed whenever they slam the door (i would suggest a door stopper for the management to look into this matter). The aircond cant really reach into your bed, for some people (my friend) cant sleep because of that, so we just sleep with our curtain opened overnight and didnt mind at all how they see us sleep at night (haha).The hygiene of the toilets outside was quite dissapointing probably coming from irresponsible travelers and uncivilised behaviour that cant clean themselves after usageMy verdict for this place would be:- As a traveller, this place is something that i would choose again in the future personally, not for a very comfortable stay, but for its convenience and suit its rate per night- If you are choosing this place for a rest (+ you are a heavy sleeper) its good for you i guess- Staff are quite helpful and polite (the lady!)

Recap stay:- community area are wayyyyy to close to the sleeping areas and you can hear the other tenants laughing at like 2am.- there is no staff supervision to enforce quiet after 11pm.- bed was fine, good AC.- all the doors SLAM. No idea why hostel doesn't install door stoppers... You will get zero sleep if people are inconsiderate which is often. I would avoid this for this reason alone.- wifi was okay.- balcony was great- staff is great when they were there- area is greatCome stay if you are a heavy sleeper. Otherwise, stay away.

外國朋友來住，覺得很棒，不分性別的獨立廁所，和獨立浴室，吹風機很好用，也有投幣洗衣機，公共區域很乾淨，也有小陽台/吸煙區，房間是比較小，但房價也是很便宜，而且在西門町內，算是很棒的青年旅社，有提供拖鞋跟衣架，要自帶牙刷跟毛巾浴巾。

淋浴間非常狹小、沒什麼地方能放東西，只有一個掛鉤可以掛衣服，廁所總是充滿強烈的尿騷味，淋浴間也是常有異味，公共空間也總是充滿異味令人卻步。房間個人空間雖然還行，但可能價位偏低住客水準參差不齊，目前待了兩晚、兩天床舖都被放垃圾，即使床簾全部拉上，回來時一樣有垃圾，雖說青年旅館本來就是隱私有限的地方，但被放垃圾真的令人非常不舒服。

Very bad. The beds are tiny and uncomfortable, and the rooms are completely claustrophobic. The hostel plays music at night and the lights in the bedrooms don't turn off. The absolute worst thing is the VERY LOUD KARAOKE downstairs that goes until very late. It's impossible to sleep here, I would never stay here again.

1、最火大的，沒熱水，冬天。要別人怎麼洗澡？而且浴室只有一個花灑，就算只想洗頭也噴的全身都很冷。2、因為一間房很多人，我只能說有預算沒預算最好都花多一點錢住獨立的套房，同房的東西都亂擺在地上，還亂掛衣服= =會在意的人千萬不要來住，都已經有給置物櫃跟床了，還把自己的東西擺的地上都是。因為衛浴是共用的，還會有人忘記東忘記西，不對自己的物品負責人，打擾別人使用公共空間的權利。3、服務態度沒有不好，但如果無法做到跟顧客約法三章，保障所有顧客的權利，那就不是一間合格的商業旅店。4、房間內有間小廁所並沒有提到是否可以在裡面洗澡，如果有人在裡面洗澡噴的到處都是誰要負責？5、店員在告知顧客只說過有問題都可以問，那請問你們沒穿制服我哪看得出來誰是店員？而且在check in 的時候也並未有任何的叮囑，那難怪住客品質行為這麼糟。6、還沒躺床就有毛7、有人翻倒液體

The beds as extremely hard, andhave metal wires in them. It is also over a karoke bar, so you get to listen to horrible singing and bass music all night. Staff are NOT friendly, no real common area either then a table and chair, and 15-20 people to a room...DO NOT BOOK HERE!

I stayed for one night in the girls dormitory and i am so dissapointed,the shower room is only 4,shared by boys and girls,the aircon inside the room is very weak,so i feel uncomfortable,the bed is extremely hard,the sensor of locker in the bed have an alarm sound so it made a noise and disturbing other guest,there's a music lounge downstairs of the hostel and i can't take a good sleep because of the noise,they don't have free body towel to use,they only have face towel and you can purchase it in the receptionist and pay for 30nt dollars,the only good thing is they have free breakfast,and the location is absolutely good because it's in the center of ximen.

Great location but not so great soundproofing from the dingy KTV Nightclub downstairs. Consider yourself warned when they offer free earplugs upon check-in. Bathrooms were kinda small and it was perpetually crowded. From my experience 2 years back.

They play music fairly loudly in the lobby. I'm working remotely and sometimes need to take work calls or have meetings, so a quieter space would be appreciated. But I wouldn't mind it otherwise.The dormitory is a tad small for the amount of beds in it. It can get crammed.As for the mattresses, you can feel some springs, so it can be a bit uncomfortable.Aside from that, the location is convenient, the staff seems nice, very LGBT friendly, the decoration is welcoming, there's hot and cold drinking water provided and a laundry machine for 50$. The wifi is okay too.
